Position Summary

 

The Sales Enablement Technology Specialist will support the Healthcare sales organization’s technology needs, including usage of tools like Highspot sales enablement tool, SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS), and Rehearsal Video Role Play. They will be the primary support for the sales enablement tool and will be the system liaison with Marketing and other cross-functional departments to ensure content is accessible and up to date. This role will also support the Healthcare Sales Training Instructional Design team by uploading and assisting with testing new or updated content for the Learning Management System. The Sales Enablement Technology Specialist will work in close collaboration with Marketing teams across all sales channels within Healthcare, the Healthcare Sales Training Department, STERIS IT, the LMS System Admin team and Highspot (external vendor for sales enablement tool). 

 

This position reports to Director, Sales Training.

 

This position is based in Mentor, OH but open to remote candidates that possess the required education, experience and skills.

Duties

  1. Function as the main point of contact for supporting and training the sales organization(s) on the sales enablement tool (STERIS Resource Center). 
  2. Lead business / learning analysis efforts to drive enhancements to the STERIS Resource Center. Deliver world class solutions aligned with goals and strategies. 
  3. Create and deploy training materials on how to use the STERIS Resource Center (SRC) for new hires into the Healthcare sales organization. 
  4. Collaborate with Marketing and STERIS IT on content management and ensure the information on the SRC up to date.
  5. Support additional / advanced training needs for the SRC by pulling content and usage reports within the tool on a regular basis.
  6. Manage sales representative profiles and access to Rehearsal Video Role Play, during sales training programs.
  7. Assists Project Specialist, Sales Training and Field Sales Training Program Manager with training assignments and completions within Rehearsal.
  8. Manage records and tracking files for the library of content owned by the Healthcare Sales Training department within SuccessFactors LMS and ensure the integrity of all associated data residing the system. 
  9. Upload content to the Learning Management System (LMS) following the established standard work. Identify areas of improvement and recommend changes, as needed.
  10. Assist the Instructional Design team with testing content in the LMS.
  11. Manage routine and custom reports, providing qualitative and quantitative analysis on ad-hoc basis.
  12. Function as a project manager for system upgrades and system enhancements. 
  13. Create and maintain proper training materials and business documentation. 
     

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

  1. Minimum 5 years’ experience working extensively with sales technology platforms (i.e., sales enablement tools and learning management systems) or related Customer focused platforms.
  2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Training and Development or Technology related field.
  3. 1 – 3 years’ experience in Healthcare industry preferred.

  1. Strategically partner with marketing and sales to build content that helps drive revenue globally for the Healthcare organization.
  2. Ability to collaborate across multiple departments to ensure content on the STERIS Resource Center is relevant and easy to access.
  3. Subject matter expertise in technology platforms:  Sales Enablement Tool and SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS).
  4. Demonstrated skills in business analysis, including documentation of workflows and application of documented workflows into an e-Learning system.
  5. Strong project management skills, proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make independent decisions. 
  6. Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, staff, Customers, and vendors.
  7. Exhibit excellent teamwork and ability to collaborate with cross functional team members. 
  8. Ability to learn quickly, independently and problem solve. 
  9. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. 
  10. Ability to organize time effectively, determines priorities, and move work forward independently. 
  11. Critical thinking skills to assess reporting needs/requirements and determine appropriate solution.
