Position Summary

The Redistribution Analyst is part of the Healthcare North American Commercial Operations organization and reports to the Director of Distribution and Contract Administration.  This position provides contract and pricing support to medical-surgical Distributors located within the US.  The analyst is also responsible for the monthly sales tracing processing in addition to review and approval of all Distributor rebate claims.  The role is a central point of contact for sales, Distributors, and end-user Customers for resolution of price disputes.   Analyst must have a working knowledge of healthcare contracts, purchasing groups, Distributors, and healthcare industry changes, and be able to proactively identify opportunities to enhance STERIS systems to meet evolving needs of the business.

Duties

  1. Analyze distributor rebate claims against end-user Customer contract terms and conditions, adhering to a strict monthly timeline. 
  2. Process all sales tracing information in accordance with monthly processing timeline.  Validate that all information has been submitted by every distributor each month, which includes analysis of distributor purchases and reported sales.
  3. Review distributor Customer cross reference and product cross reference errors and resolve to ensure that the data is accurately translated into STERIS Customer and item detail.
  4. Work closely with distributors to ensure that mutual Customers receive the correct contract price at the correct time.   Investigate all e-mail and phone inquiries from distributors regarding Customer pricing.  Must have extensive knowledge of GPO, IDN, and local contracts.
  5. Work with distributor to determine the root cause of rebate variances and provide resolution to eliminate the discrepancy.
  6. Notify distributors of new contracts, price changes, contract extensions and terminations in a timely manner to reduce likelihood of rebate errors.  Notify distributor of all Customer GPO and eligibility changes.
  7. Work with Collections department to reconcile open rebate balances with distributors.
  8. Assist Director of Distribution and Contract Administration with rebate settlement negotiations.
  9. Maintain archive of all distributor correspondence as supporting documentation for rebate credits and denials.
  10. Maintain contract eligibility for indirect Customer database. 
  11. Corporate point of contact for STERIS Account Managers and distributors regarding distributor to end-user pricing disputes.  Provide resolution to the issue by working with the Account Manager, the distributor, and the Pricing & Contract Administration team, if necessary.
  12. Create and publish monthly redistribution and rebate reports for internal and external use.

Education Degree

  • Associate's Degree

Required Experience

Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of two years contract administration or distributor customer service experience.
