Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to support the R&D organization in managing and executing sustaining projects for market expansion and minor software updates. Provide support on projects as needed including revision of wireframe, execution of test protocols, administration of engineering tools, updating project metrices and help manage sustaining projects under the guidance of Project Manager.
This position is 100% onsite in Mentor Ohio.
Duties
• Plans, oversees, and executes the project activities for market expansion and sustaining projects with minor software updates/patches.
• Informs stakeholders about status or issues that affect their ability to meet commitments.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, while satisfying changing customer (internal and external) needs and priorities.
• Collect project data for status reporting by updating progress charts and KPIs to assess against goals.
• Maintain automation scripts which support project data collection, document generation, and development tool integration.
• Support Project Managers in new product development projects by executing assigned tasks.
• Provide support for maintenance of engineering tools including updating of software version, validation of tool for intended use, and maintenance of vendor licenses.
• Administer development tools for controls team such as Azure Dev Ops, JIRA
Education Degree
Required Experience
1. Associate degree, preferably in computer science/programming/electrical engineering/statistics
2. Strong interpersonal skill
3. MS Office tools (Work, Excel, PowerPoint) - intermediate level
4. Some experience in tool administration
5. Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
6. Ability to focus on priority tasks, learn new things quickly, and deliver creative and simple solutions to complex and challenging opportunities. Ability to prioritize projects based on corporate strategy.
