The Role

Do you have a background in Customer Operations and enjoy working with product management? Come join STERIS as the Pricing and Rebate Coordinator . You will be responsible for all Life Sciences price lists, contracts, and redistribution. You will maintain all global price lists in multiple currencies to ensure that STERIS product is available for Customers to order. This role also manages all contracts so ensure that Customers who have discounted pricing receive the appropriate discount upon ordering. You will also facilitate redistribution activities and processing rebates for product sold through distributors.

What You Will Do

  • Manages Oracle price lists in multiple currencies for all Life Sciences product lines.
  • Maintains the LS Pricing inbox by adding requested products individually to price lists or scheduling mass loads within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Works with product management to ensure new products are available in the appropriate markets upon launch by adding to the proper price list(s).
  • Responsible for troubleshooting pricing issues for Customer Operations, Sales, and the Field Sales teams.
  • Conducts analysis for month statistics to tracking productivity and workload and for annual pricing cleanup to identify products that need attention due to lack of pricing increase year over year or lack of quote/order activity.
  • Owns LPA process to maintain all global Life Sciences pricing contracts and assists with facilitating special pricing situations and promotions.

  • Imports quoted and approved pricing from Sales Connection to Oracle to ensure Customers are defaulted with agreed upon pricing during the appropriate dates. Facilitate addition or removal of products and price increases to contracts when applicable. 
  • Plans the annual pricing renewal period by communicating due dates, managing “dummy” price list creation and mass data loads, and leading training for the global field sales team.
  • Provides support on any ad-hoc process or contract pricing issues.
  • Audits Life Sciences Distributors and Purchasing partners rebate submissions for payment to determine accuracy of the data and entitlement of requests.
  • Fulfills contractual payments to Customers and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Partner with Finance to create and reconcile financial accruals.  Work with Accounts Receivable team to research and resolve residuals.

What You Will Need to Be Successful

  • College degree or 8+ years of relevant experience required
  • Experience in Customer Operations required 
  • Knowledge of internal systems including Oracle, Cognos, and Sales Connection preferred
  • Previous experience working with Sales and IT preferred
  • Previous experience in financial systems or pricing management preferred
  • Detail-oriented and appreciation for quality control
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Demonstrates analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
