Position Summary

As an Operations Business Systems Analyst in our Mentor, Ohio facility, you will lead digital transformation efforts for the operations teams through the development, administration, and support of applications and solutions. In this role, you will oversee activities related to our operations business systems (including the Microsoft Power Platform, IoT, and inventory systems) ensuring they effectively support operational goals. You will gather requirements, evaluate how they align with existing processes, and update or develop training materials to support new solutions and process changes while driving continued system adoption. In addition, you will provide ongoing technical, development, and process support to maintain and enhance our business systems.

 

This is a Hybrid position, requiring that you work onsite 3 days with the option of working from home 2 days of the week, Monday through Friday.

 

Note: You must reside within a reasonable commute to our Mentor, OH campus

What You'll do as a Business Systems Analyst

Digital Solution Development and Deployment (50%):

  • Design, build, and deploy new digital solutions to support operational needs.
  • Develop no-code and low-code process automation tools.
  • Effectively interact with all levels of the Business to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of new or existing digital solutions.
    • Identify system or business process enhancements, gather supporting requirements and develop functional documents.
    • Create, edit and execute test cases that encompass system changes.
  • Identify system enhancement and integration opportunities to improve user experience and meet business goals.
    • Gather and document business requirements, transfer user requests into design specifications, and deliver effective digital solutions..
  • Develop and issue communications for point releases, upgrades and process changes.

 

Technical & Process Support (30%):

  • Provide on-going support for Business Systems and ensure operational goals are achieved.
    • Identify root cause of system issues, provide corrective action to management.
    • Identify process gaps to end-users to reduce issues and errors, create and provide documentation to support processes.

 

Training & Adoption (20%):

  • Develop and deliver training materials and presentations for end users of developed solutions.
  • Works closely with key stake holders to ensure that ongoing training needs are identified and met.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for digital tools used in operations.
  • Optimize training delivery methods to maximize effectiveness and system adoption (in person, virtual, video, user guides).
    • Provide updates to all training material, including user guides, videos, etc., to support latest version release.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Information Management, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related field, and a minimum of two years’ experience in operations with business systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business system applications (such as an ERP, MRP, or related systems). 
  • Minimum of 2 years working knowledge of general business operations.
  • In lieu of a degree, high school diploma /GED and a minimum of 8 years of experience in business systems. 
  • Strong computer skills, including use of Microsoft applications, intranet, and reporting tools.

 

Preferred: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Low or No Code digital solution development, including data visualization and process automation.
  • Demonstrated functional knowledge of business intelligence tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform experience, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI. Applied skill certification, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT)  and Smart Factory technologies.

 

Other:

  • Requires strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving skills, the ability to investigate, assess and recommend solutions.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with others in team-oriented environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry tools and techniques to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model and analyze requirements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work with different management levels.
  • Strong business acumen.

Pay range for this opportunity is $67,362.50 - $83,212.50. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
