Position Summary
Manufacturing Systems Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and/or improving systems and related processes to achieve operational efficiencies, improve performance, and ensure process/systems interface across the Global Operations group and with suppliers. This position will work as a liaison between the business and IT and translate business requirements to functional specifications. The manager will also develop training materials, manage shared documents and conduct trainings as necessary.
What You’ll do as a Manufacturing Systems Manager
- Work directly with Supply Chain, Manufacturing , suppliers, and continuous improvement group to develop and implement system enhancements or new tools.
- Develop communication, procedures and training program to support new systems or tools.
- Participate in or lead projects and/or lean events relative to process and system improvements, mergers/acquisitions, new business development initiatives, and consolidation activity.
- Supports Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, planning and purchasing activities related to database maintenance and metric reporting.
- Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve issues reported by users on a timely basis
- Work closely with IT teams to develop existing technology that enables quicker and better user experience. In addition, explore new technology and tools that enhance and improvement efficient and capability.
- Serves as SME (subject matter expert) on Supply Chain & Manufacturing systems.
- Process Associate performance review and salary adjustments in a timely manner.
The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 8 years Supply Chain, Operations, Material, or Manufacturing experience.
- A working knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) applications (Oracle, SAP, Syteline).
- Exceptional ability to work as liaison between business and IT. A mastery of translating business requirements into functional specifications.
- Experienced people leader or leading cross functional teams. Proven success in leading, developing, and engaging others.
- Demonstrated experience or ability to successfully standardize systems and procedures, manage projects or implement initiatives.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in lean and continuous improvement.
Preferred:
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Oracle EBS working experience.
- Cognos or Tableau knowledge.
- Certification in related field (APICS).
Other:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, problems solving, business acumen, and time management skills.

Pay range for this opportunity is $107,525.00 - $132,825.00.This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
