Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance/repair and calibration of all electrical/mechanical equipment including test equipment, while maintaining all safety standards.

Duties
- Maintains and repairs equipment and facilities such as CNC cutting and machining equipment, Process tanks and pumps, and industrial controls following blueprints and manufacturers’ specifications.
- Maintains and operates low pressure Steam Boiler and/or Air Compressors.
- Converses with equipment operators to ascertain problems with equipment before breakdown, and to determine if breakdown is due to human error or mechanical problem.
- Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose cause of malfunction.
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, structural, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
- Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications.
- Calibrates testing instruments.
- Maintains record of repairs and calibrations in CMMS system.
- Performs preventive maintenance of equipment and documents it in the CMMS system.
- Coordinates routine contract services with vendors.
- Follow all applicable GMP, ISO and safety guidelines.

Education Degree
- High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
- Five years or more of installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Experience working on three-phase 480-volt systems.
Preferred Experience
- Mazak/Trumpf equipment maintenance preferred.
- Basic MS Office experience preferred.
