Position Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist will update stock records and related information in Oracle to monitor the accuracy of inventory levels. Performs inventory transactions and manages daily cycle counting and monthly inventory reporting. Performs receiving and shipping tasks as needed.
What You'll do as a Inventory Control Specialist
- Schedule and coordinate completion of daily cycle counts, which include the physical count tasks, including report preparation, monitoring physical counting, reconciliation, and data entry.
- Ensure all daily inventory transactions are accurately and promptly entered into Oracle and maintain records.
- Generate monthly expired lot report and supervise the physical movement of stock to correct locations and sub-inventories, and perform Oracle transactions and system reports.
- Generate monthly cycle count report to include total items, pieces, dollars counted, and all adjustments.
- Monitor inventory transactions to develop and/or recommend improvements in inventory procedures and work instructions.
- Reviews, monitors, investigates, and reports on inventory that is in the On Hold and Review areas.
- Schedule Trucks as needed and support any Expedite shipments.
- Ensure Inventory is electronically reflective of its physical location.
- Investigate Inventory Discrepancies as needed.
- All other duties assigned.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of Inventory Control/Warehousing experience.
- Must possess effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of inventory transactions and record-keeping.
Preferred:
- Experience in Oracle or other ERP systems.
- Ability to drive forklifts, manual jacks, and walk-behinds.
Other:
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, etc.
- Ability to run reports out of Oracle, Cognos, and Tableau.
- Ability to coordinate work with others and facilitate recounts, investigate, and problem-solve.
- Ability to use Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft tools.
- Ability to maximize warehouse space.

Pay range for this opportunity is $39,312.50 - $48,562.50. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
