Position Summary:

The International Sales Coordinator's primary role is to manage various aspects of the Asia Pacific and Latin America Regions’ consumable and capital business, including issue resolution for Dealers.  Responsibilities include working in partnership with Dealers, Sales and Operations Leadership to ensure timely and efficient execution of assigned tasks.  You will ensure Region projects are completed in adherence to terms and conditions of contract as well as within Regulatory constraints.  The Specialist is responsible for Region support decisions in the absence of the Region Lead and/or Manager.  

What You Will Do:
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving Region issues by working closely with Dealers and Internal Departments to resolve complex issues relating to: regulatory adherence, foreign government requirements, import and export/ logistics processes, product quality, and product specifications
  • Accountable for successful execution of order management through review and approval of order terms, conditions, pricing and exceptions
  • Ensure orders are consistent with STERIS terms and conditions and work with Dealers to resolve exceptions
  • Respond to price quotes, product questions and issues, and all other Region inquiries
  • Responsible for financial decisions with authority for expediting and consolidating costs in line with Country Manager authority
  • Work with Regulatory, Dealers and Sales to facilitate registration of STERIS products in Region
  • Manage consumable and capital order backlog of business 
  • Coordinate product shipment from various plant and vendor locations to designated delivery point
  • Investigate product complaints and work with Regulatory to ensure timely action and resolution
  • Travel (10%) to develop relationships with Dealers
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; International Business or Business discipline preferred
  • Two+ years of business experience with direct contact with Customers, Vendors and Sales
  • One+ year of project management experience
  • 2 years international business experience preferred
  • Strong decision-making skills; understands how decisions impact the Customer and the Company
  • Ability to lead and influence a cross-functional team and operate in a highly complex environment
  • Working knowledge of international commerce and export trade requirements
  • Ability to handle multiple demands from many people and prioritize effectively
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese speaking skills preferred
