Position Summary

As an HRIS Analyst II you are responsible for supporting the HRIS team and partnering with internal/external support departments in maintaining and supporting human resource systems and related processes. You will collaborate with other department analysts on projects that enhance system functionality, processes, and reporting. In this role you will provide intermediate level support in configuration, creation/executing test scripts, mass loading and validating data changes, and resolving tier-2 level support tickets.

 

This is a hybrid role with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Corporate HQ, 2-3 days per week.

What You'll do as an HRIS Analyst II

System Maintenance & Support (50% of Time)

  • Support the HRIS team in partnering with HR, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and IT in maintaining and developing human resource systems and related processes.
  • Align with global data privacy requirements and act as a data steward to protect confidential and personal sensitive data.
  • Establish an intermediate level understanding of HR system architecture relating to connectivity, corporate systems integration, and employee data flow across several corporate core systems.
  • Collaborate in the develop and implementation of process improvements to our core HR system and integrations with related corporate systems and processes.
  • Collaborate in system integrations or vendor conversions for all related HR systems.
  • Perform intermediate level system configuration changes in multiple environments leveraging a firm knowledge of change control procedures.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot intermediate to advanced level system, process, and report errors by providing tier-2 level support needed to deliver solutions to internal Customers.
  • Develop test plans and execute scripts to systematically test system functionality, data validation, and system upgrades or patches in multiple environments.
  • Analyze and compile information to process mass loads as assigned.
  • Independently run intermediate level system and data administration processes as assigned.
  • Assist with mass data entry assignments as assigned.

 

Report/Query (35% of Time)

  • Work directly with report stakeholders to document standardized report requirements to meet business needs.  Organize report requirements and process via ticketing system for manager and BPO approval.
  • Design and deploy intermediate to advanced level reports using SuccessFactors or ServiceNow reporting tools used to externally compile reports.
  • Design and optimize custom MS Access databases to systematically query and analyze/audit large amounts of data that produce technical reports.
  • Extract, analyze, and assemble data for US government compliance reporting relating to EEO, VETs, Disability, and Affirmative Action Reporting.

 

Development (10% of Time)

  • Learn key system functionality to process information and achieve desired results.
  • Cross-train to support to all HRIS department functions and keep current with internal HR system functionality changes.
  • Keep current on the system enhancements through various means such as attending training, utilizing the community site, attending user group meetings, and obtaining basic system certification.

 

Training (5% of Time)

  • Use functional and technical knowledge to provide end-users with general guidance and informal training as needed.
  • Gather requirements to create and maintain written process documents for related HRIS systems and processes.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems or technology, business administration and 3 years of equivalent work experience in analyzing/maintaining data in an enterprise HR system OR Associate’s degree in human resources, information systems or technology, business administration and 7 years of equivalent work experience in analyzing/maintaining data in an enterprise HR system.
  • Relevant work experience (contingent upon education level) with HR systems relating to: analyzing data, data entry, navigation, troubleshooting errors, and reporting.  Intermediate understanding of change control management in multiple environments.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and business intelligence reporting or an enterprise HR system business intelligence tool.

 

Preferred:

  • Preferred candidates will have intermediate functional knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, MS Access, MS Visio, paid time off (PTO), and regulatory compliance.

 

Other:

  • Qualified candidates must have an enthusiasm for system maintenance, enhancing data integrity, and improving related processes.
  • Qualified candidates must have basic to intermediate decision making, leadership skills, and knowledge of government compliance reporting.
  • Qualified candidates must have intermediate to advanced skill in delivering results driven by project planning and timelines, solid written and verbal communication, project/task management, prioritize work accordingly, and consistently demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong emphasis on attention to detail, analyzing data and processes, and working both independently and collaborating with a teamwork to investigate, analyze, and deliver solutions on complex problems.

Pay range for this opportunity is $67,362.50 - $83,213. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
