Position Summary

The Field Incentive Analyst will be responsible for working directly with finance and business leaders to manage incentive plans for field positions. In this role you will become a subject matter expert in all incentive plans to complete calculation processes, provide information on changing plans, and answer and questions related to the plans from field team members.

What You Will Do

  • Complete the calculation process for monthly, quarterly and annual bonus payouts of defined field incentive plans, ensuring timely and accurate payouts. This includes: reviewing sales data to ensure accuracy of reporting and completing manual adjustments.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of records that are loaded into the incentive system data base each month.
  • Investigate, follow up and respond to field inquiries regarding incentive payouts/calculations and sales reporting.
  • Complete initial cost modeling, review options and based on approved promo, provide appropriate payouts for product and service promotions.
  • Complete various ranking and summary reports for defined businesses on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Provide the accounting team information on actual payouts and amounts to be accrued, by business unit, including forecasting future incentive payouts.

What You Will do Continued

  • Complete ad hoc reports, as requested by business leaders and special reports requested from internal and/ or external audits along with assisting in on-site audit activity.
  • Assist Business partners in developing quotas and work with the Finance Team, to ensure alignment with business plan numbers
  • Maintain a quota data base for defined business responsibility; distribute individual quotas to employees and/or management; update and adjust quotas based on business issues, as required
  • Identify improvement opportunities, and assists with implementing changes
  • For any exception request, review detail, and recommend appropriate action.

What You Need to be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience in accounting and/or compensation plan design including co-op or internships

Qualifications That Can Set You Apart

  • Experience working with commissioned sales plans
  • Demonstrated strong excel skills – including the knowledge and use of advanced formulas, pivot tables and importing and exporting data.
  • Other computer skills to include MS office and ability to access/pull information from data warehouse.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization, demonstrating professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large numbers and volumes of numbers accurately, and in great detail, maintaining accuracy under time constraints in a multiple task and multiple priority environment.
  • Results orientated with demonstrated ability to effectively analyze and solve problems while remaining objective.
  • Ability to create ad-hoc reports through Informatica.
