Position Summary
The position is responsible for the management and coordination of the Equipment Evaluation Program (EEP) and Certified Pre-Owned/Special Sales Inventory (SSI) for US and Canadian Healthcare. These programs deploy an inventory valued at $4,000,000-$5,000,000 million annually. The individual is responsible for managing trials from quote, delivery, install and deinstall. Responsibilities include total ownership and management of trial requests, equipment reservation, service support scheduling and logistics coordination.
This is a hybrid position. After 6-weeks of training, the team meets at our office in Mentor OH on Tuesday and Wednesday.
What You'll Do as an Equipment Evaluation Program Coordinator
Order Management
- Create and manage sales orders and returns associated with EEP, SSI, rental and mock rooms using Oracle ERP system.
- Ensure successful execution of equipment orders, service parts and/or accessories, signed terms and conditions, pricing, exceptions, logistics coordination and monthly invoicing
- Manage processes for order entry, ship confirmation, and return receipt
- Validate trial equipment availability through EEP Reservation System. Use system to reserve, confirm and manage equipment throughout trial duration.
- Create service requests via Siebel for Field Service Technician or Installation Project Manager for equipment uncrate, installation, deinstallation, recrate and ceiling light site inspection
- Manage Customer equipment rental requests ensuring Customer approval of Rental Agreement, coordination of product shipment and monthly system invoicing.
- Facilitate order process for new Customers by completing and submitting credit applications and requests for account setup
- Ensure terms and conditions of sale adhere to STERIS standard; work with legal for review as required
Sales Support
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery/return of equipment
- Coordinate delivery schedules with sales, service and freight carriers
- Enter delivery information into freight carrier website
- Coordinate uncrating and installation of equipment with service and sales
- Coordinate timely pick up and return of equipment from Customer location post trial
- Monitor and manage Rental Agreement orders to ensure Customer remits payment within terms. Escalate to Credit or local sales team for resolution if necessary
- Manage escalated issues and work with cross functional team on issue resolution. Facilitate corrective action and administer process changes as needed
- Communicate directly with Customer to obtain supporting and/or missing documentation related to orders. May be required to communicate with Purchasing, facilities, OR admin or end-user.
- Coordinate product shipment from various off-site warehouses, STERIS manufacturing and vendor locations to designated delivery point to meet Customer expectations
- Using lean tools, investigate complaints, log defects, determine root cause and implement corrective action
- Ensure trials and rentals are entered in accordance with SOX and Sunshine Act guidelines
Project Management
- Supports the continuous improvement initiatives within the function, including standard work and the root-cause-countermeasure process in support of key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Works within the department’s Lean tracking tools and provides data as needed for monthly documentation of performance against agreed-upon KPIs
- Participates in Kaizen events when appropriate and supports the action plans that result from those events
The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed
- High school diploma or GED & 2+ years business experience with direct Customer or sales contact
- Bachelor’s degree & 1+ years business experience with direct Customer or sales contact

Pay range for this opportunity is $39,250.00 - $54,862.50.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
