1st Shift schedule:  Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm,  Friday 7:00am - 11:00am plus overtime as needed. 

Duties

This associate will perform finishing operations utilizing electropolish process. 

  • Sets up electro-polish equipment to treat surfaces.
  • Operate a hoist system to perform finishing operation utilizing electropolish process.
  • Conduct prescribed tests on chemical processing solutions per standard work procedures on a regular basis to assure proper operating range.
  • Adjust or replace solutions to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Monitor process control of solutions to ensure processing within predetermined parameters.
  • Inspect own work to ensure quality on the finish.
  • Interface with department supervisors, personnel, and the maintenance department to ensure proper disposal of chemical wastes, in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Required to put grain structure in base material.
  • Follows standard work instructions and always follows safety regulations and requirements.
  • Reports any unusual activity to Electro Polish Technician or Team Lead.
  • Maintains lifting system and cathode equipment.
  • Additional duties, as required to meet business needs.

Education Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

  • 1 – 2 years related experience required.
  • 2 years of experience working in a solid metal fabrication / machining environment required.
  • Must have basic math and computer skills.
  • Must use attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, pull, push, and reach.
