Position Summary

The Distributor Operations Analyst is part of the Healthcare Americas Commercial Operations organization and reports to the Manager, Distributor Operations. This role is responsible for all aspects of data validation and entry of trace sales and chargeback claims provided by distributors. The analyst will conduct monthly item and Customer data integrity audits to ensure accurate entry of trace sales information. The analyst will conduct monthly audits to identify potential reporting gaps or grey market activity. The analyst will facilitate monthly meetings with their assigned distributors to resolve top financially impactful discrepancies. This analyst must maintain a solid working knowledge of contract pricing rules, Customer data management rules, and distribution agreements. This role collaborates with distributors, Customer Data Management, Credit & Collections, Pricing and Contracts, Corporate and Strategic Accounts, and Sales.

 

This role is considered Hybrid with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Headquarters minimum 2 days per week.  Additional days onsite may be required within the initial training/onboarding period. 

What You'll Do as a Distributor Operations Analyst

  • Gather, format, and enter reported trace sales and chargeback claims for assigned portfolio of distributors ensuring monthly deadlines are met.
  • Conduct monthly data integrity audits of reported trace sales and chargeback claims to identify item and Customer cross-reference errors and take necessary action to update.
  • Perform monthly first-pass analysis of reported trace sales and chargeback claims for assigned portfolio of distributors, approving/denying chargeback claims, and communicate chargeback discrepancies back to the distributor.
  • Perform monthly analysis to identify the top three financially impactful chargeback claim discrepancies per assigned distributor and work with that distributor to resolve the root-cause of those discrepancies.
  • Conduct monthly trace sales audits for assigned portfolio of distributors to identify and escalate potential grey market activity, as well as identify reporting gaps and work with distributors to obtain missing trace sales.
  • Provide support to distributors as it relates to trace sales and chargeback claims, including daily maintenance of the department inbox, providing weekly communication of pricing changes, and providing notifications of new/expired pricing available through the distribution channel.
  • Works within the department’s Lean tracking tools and provides data as needed for monthly documentation of performance against agreed upon KPIs.
  • Propose modifications to processes and systems to gain efficiencies, participate in Kaizen events when appropriate, and support the action plans that result from those events.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

  • An associate degree is required + 1 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and set priorities to meet competing deadlines. 
  • Must be organized to handle many jobs in various phases of completion.
  • Strong ability to articulate issues and ideas to all levels of the organization and provide meaningful insight to support decision makers.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external Customers, as well as with members of one’s own team.
  • Competent in continuous improvement and lean tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team, in a fast-paced environment; must be a self-starter able to work well under pressure with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to distributor locations or industry events as needed.

Pay range for this opportunity is $50,150.00 - $64,900.00.This position is eligible for bonus participation.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
