Our Healthcare Customers are federally mandated (by Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services or CMS) requiring vendors to have the COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption.  There are select Customers who do not accept any exceptions. Unvaccinated Associates may be excluded from working at a Customer site, require routine testing with an approved exemption (if accepted by the Customer) or have limited Customer access impacting their ability to remain employed. Additionally, we may be required to meet state mandates on COVID-19 vaccination, exemptions and/or booster requirements. This position is a Customer-facing role that falls under a state or CMS mandate.

The Role

Do you like to identify strategic objectives and help develop strategies to ensure goals are met? If so, join our team as the Business Strategy Deployment Manager. This position is responsible for the development, maintenance and execution of the Life Sciences Equipment & Service business strategy, through proper identification and implementation of KPIs and strategic initiatives that achieve long-term business goals.  You will partner with senior leadership in the development of strategies to ensure all established revenue, profitability, quality and delivery commitments are met or exceeded. This opportunity also participates with senior management and business development team members in the identification, development, and evaluation of new business/program opportunities that align with the LS Equipment & Service strategy.  You will identify crucial factors affecting the profitability and potential of new/existing programs as well as being responsible for the Balanced Scorecard program by ensuring KPIs and initiatives are in alignment with the overall short- and long-term global Life Sciences strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for the Equipment & Service long-term strategy development and planning
    • Lead the global Life Sciences team to identify strategic objectives that align with the team’s overall long-term strategy
    • Identify and prioritize initiatives that align with the strategic objectives to ensure Life Sciences meets its KPI targets
  • Responsible for the Equipment & Service strategy maintenance and deployment process (Balanced Scorecard)
    • Develop and deliver training to the LS team as needed to ensure understanding and continued use of the balanced scorecard
    • Develop, trend and maintain KPIs that indicate the success of the Balanced Scorecard, and recommend areas for improvement
    • Maintaining financial, Customer, business processes and People, Tools and Technology perspectives of Balanced Scorecard for LS by establishing vision for the key strategic initiatives, ensuring strategic initiatives are completed on time and within budget requirements
    • Working cross-functionally to set priorities, allocate resources for execution, and monitor performance of process improvement. 
    • Assisting in the development and ongoing refinement of the Life Sciences Balanced Scorecard by ensuring data, metrics and reporting accurately meets leaderships’ needs

  • Customer Experience (CX) Program Management
    • Responsible for building a comprehensive CX strategy which will advocate, evangelize and leverage insights to improve our Customers’ journey and overall experience
    • Leveraging data to connect ongoing business performance (ROI, churn rates, market share, NPS, operational KPIs, etc.) with Customer perceptions and satisfaction
    • Partnering with the wider LS organization to identify and implement initiatives targeted at improving the overall Customer experience
    • Program Management and process Improvement across the Customer experience operations team
  • Business and Market Research Analysis
    • As needed, conducts research and analysis of Life Sciences industry trends, market conditions, leading and lagging indicators, competitive dynamics and disruptive forces in support of the overall LS Equipment and Service strategy
    • Research the Life Sciences market dynamics of the key economic drivers and monetizing the impact of strategic initiatives.

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Management, or Technical discipline
  • Minimum of five to seven years in management role or equivalent experience in strategy preferred
  • Minimum of five years developing and executing on business strategies  
  • Ability to lead, influence and drive change through executing initiatives and programs using cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
