Position Summary

Responsible for high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing solutions within Microsoft .NET technology.  Utilize mature development standards and tools, SQL, ReactJs, C#, Java scripting, etc.  Provide technical and functional expertise in .Net and Mobile Applications.  In-depth knowledge and experience in information systems architecture, software design methodologies, software design patterns, and object-oriented design, adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques and contribute to the technical code documentation.  Reviews the Software Change Requests under supervision. Remain aware of emerging technologies, programming languages and standards.  Perform unit and system testing. Lead small size development projects/initiatives. Perform continuous appraisal of implemented software. 

Duties

Design, Develop and Configure Systems – 70%

1.    Researches, evaluates and recommends software, hardware and cloud technologies.
2.    Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations.
3.    Incorporate security requirements into design.
4.    Adhere to technology control policies throughout design, development and testing.
5.    Incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.
6.    Ensure interface specifications are included in completed deliverable.
7.    Identify applicable system platform, components, and dependencies.
8.    Document the detailed application specifications.
9.    Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules.
10.    Provide uniform integration into legacy systems.
11.    Provide guidance to support staff on software development and maintenance
12.    Maintain communication with other IT staff and pass information on latest trends in architecture software
13.    Create / test prototypes.

Project Leadership and Management - 20%

1.    Participate in project planning sessions with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Technical Analysts and development team members to analyze business / technology requirements and outline the proposed technology solution.
2.    Participate in project estimating activities.
3.    Develops and submits budget proposals and funding requests. 


Technical Support, System Administration and Maintenance - 10%

1.    Develop / enhance software application modules.
2.    Perform unit, system and integration testing and participate in capacity / performance testing of an application.
3.    Identify and document ongoing maintenance requirements.
4.    Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.
5.    Identify / Troubleshoot application code-related issues (provide 3rd level production support / issue resolution).
6.    Adhere to technology disaster recovery procedures.
7.    Handle complications arising from the development of new software

Required Experience

Experience Requirements

1.    8+ years in all phases of software development lifecycle
2.    5+ years of working experience in design and development experience in Enterprise level Microsoft technology applications 
3.    2+ years of experience in application architecture
4.    1+ years of experience in developing and designing applications and web API in a Service Oriented Architecture, including the use of RESTful services and API gateways
5.    Experience in web application security practices and techniques and experience in remediation of potential application security threats
6.    Experience working in a variety of development methodologies including Agile / SCRUM or other Iterative methodologies
7.    Experience with design and development of mobile Apps is a plus
8.    Experience with Microsoft Azure application is a plus
  
Required Skills

1.    Strong analytical skills.
2.    Must possess a high degree of initiative and self-direction.
3.    Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation, organizational, and conflict management skills
4.    Experience with UI technologies such as CSS, HTML5, Advanced JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX 
5.    Experience with any one of the following scripting language: ReactJS, AngularJS, jQuery, and EXTJS
6.    Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
7.    Knowledge of Oracle ERP or other ERP systems
8.    Solid business acumen and deep understanding of business processes in CRM and customer-facing applications
9.    Experience mentoring and reviewing the work of technical team members.
10.    Ability to work in a matrix team environment with both internal and 3rd party development teams (onshore / offshore).
