Position Summary
Install operating room integration equipment as directed by Integration Specialist II and/or Integration Project Manager. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, equipment modifications, and installation on all integration equipment serviced by STERIS. Provide high level technical support to Field Service Representatives as needed. Drive STERIS initiatives for growth and development of business. Interact with customers in a professional and knowledgeable basis. Complete administrative requirements as required.
What you'll do as an Integration Specialist:
Install operating room integration systems. This includes physical placement of equipment, installation, termination and interconnection of all cables, downloading and configuration of software; and testing of all functions per test documentation as required. On large projects, Integration Specialist I will typically work under the direction of Integration Specialist II or Project Manager Integration. On standard package or projects of short duration (typically less than one week), Integration Specialist I may take lead role in working with local FSR or as directed.
Operates with limited direct supervision. Acts as a functional expert liaison with Service Engineering in resolving complex technical issues.
Support large project installations under the direct supervision of the Integration Specialist II with oversight of Project Manager. Basic duties include installation, testing, and demonstration of integration systems. May be asked on occasion to: attend, remotely or in person, project meetings, review installation documentation (schematics, specifications, local codes, material takeoffs, etc.), and interface with customers and hospital staff.
Provide verbal progress reports to the installation leader/project manager.
Perform administrative duties in a timely manner including checklists, Siebel entry, expense reporting, time entry, and others as required.
Develop and maintain effective, communicative relationships with customers, managers, support functions and the sales organization.
Maintains courteous and professional demeanor when working with customers, contractors, management, and fellow employees. Utilize customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities and abide by all STERIS and Customer Health & Safety protocols and procedures.
Provide suggestions for improvement to product line. Review installation instructions, and service documents. Recommend changes to documentation when applicable.
May be asked to assist with warranty calls, field upgrade programs, etc.
Provide solutions to customers to enhance sales and growth in the field through effective positioning of STERIS products and services, identifying opportunities, and passing leads to management and sales.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed:
Experience Requirements
Associate degree in electronics or similar discipline, plus three (3) years of related experience strongly preferred. Degree requirement will be waived with five (5) years’ comparable experience.
Prefer at least 3 years surgical suite video integration experience..
Excellent knowledge of personal computers, video technology, video cabling, networking, and specific knowledge of Siebel applications and STERIS service programs preferred.
Excellent, polished customer interaction skills. Ability to communicate professionally and articulately with customers.
Energetic with a desire to learn and develop new skills.

Pay range for this opportunity is $70,550.00 - $91,300.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
