We are currently recruiting for an Team Leader vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business to motivate and coach other members of staff, and hold a level of responsibility within the department.

What is involved?

To participate as an integral member of the sterile processing team and to actively contribute to suggestions on innovation, continuous improvement and best practice.

• To monitor and ensure that all production processed by designated team conforms to Synergy Healthcare Sterilisation Services quality guidelines and ensuring complete contamination control.

• To effectively control the use of materials, equipment and consumables within the team wok location, reporting re-occurring faults and informing the Shift Supervisor/Production Manager of any other requirements.

• To actively assist and support the Shift Supervisor/Production Manager in the planning and operational process.

• To monitor absence levels, maintaining accurate records and liaising with team members

• To support and guide team members in line with the principles of Performance Management, setting and reviewing goals, acting as a mentor to the team and identifying training and development needs.

• To undertake any other duties or tasks as reasonably required.

Required Experience

  • Educated to a good general standard with demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities.
  • Basic end-user IT skills to operate track and traceability IT system.
  • Previous Team Leader experience.

Working Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday
Week 1: 7:00-15:00
Week 2: 12:00-20:00
Every fourth week: Saturday and Sunday 8:00-16:00, x2 days off during the week.
