WORKING PATTERN
- Mon – Fri, 0800 – 1630 (flexible working hours)
- Office based Mon – Thu, Fri work from home
- 37.5 hrs pw (1 hr lunch)
WHAT'S INVOLVED?
The role of Tender & Contract Administrator is fundamental to the success of our Commercial team and supports our business growth by focussing on supporting our tender and contract work, and implementation of our pricing and Commercial Initiatives. This role’s purpose is to support STERIS’s vision in creating a healthier and safer world and provides an outstanding level of support to our Commercial Management team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Preparation and submission of Tenders to ensure all documentation and administrative tasks are completed within the deadline set.
- Create pricing schedules for review and administer the pricing modules within the ERP system to ensure they are up to date and that any agreed pricing changes are reflected when orders are sent in by Customers.
- Support Account Managers and Customer Operations teams to address any issues with pricing when orders are sent in. Send updates to customers regarding current pricing or planned price increases.
- Monitor and support progress with reviews of legal documentation in relation to Commercial agreements with Customers.
- Update the rebate schedule using data from our Business Intelligence tool to ensure customers are paid rebates accurately and on time.
- Participate in Customer meetings in order to be aware of ongoing discussions around contracts or business arrangements with them.
- Maintain a library of tender-specific information which can be utilised when requests are sent through from customers.
- Manage the tender e-mail inboxes to ensure they are monitored and any requests are replied to in a timely manner, and that the Commercial teams are aware of any impending new business opportunities.
- Track the performance of tender and Commercial Initiative success and complete monthly reports on success rates.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Strong communication skills (cross department exposure & partnership).
- Attention to detail & accuracy.
- Ability to manage high volume workloads & multi-task.
- Previous Tenders & Contracts would be beneficial but not essential.
- Understanding of systems.
- Comfortable using PowerPoint & Excel (experience demonstrating and using Pivots, Lookups & Sumifs).
