If so, Steris are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join their dedicated and successful team based at their Derby offices and covering the North Region. As the Regional Sales Manager you will be part of the EMEA’s team focussed on executing several critical commercial aims. We are looking for analytical and methodical individuals with service operational and previous sales and commercial experience to drive revenue and profit targets for Key Accounts and develop regional profitable sales.

As the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for the support of the EMEA Commercial team to execute several critical commercial aims whilst concentrating on the profitable sales and targets for the region. Working with the UK and Ireland Commercial Manager you will establish business and sales strategies for top Key Accounts. You will build strong and effective partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders and key accounts and focus on internal Steris resources around service metrics required by Key Accounts
Other Regional Sales Manager responsibilities will include:
Putting in place Quarterly Business Reviews with all Key Accounts to review selected KPI’s of OTD
Strive to achieve maximum price increases while undertaking contract negotiations
Working with SOP & local Operations Managers
Act as the lead commercial person in relation to all elements of service offering
Contribute to the EMEA regional profit performance vs budget
Support the AST business imperatives of Growth, Operational Excellence, Leadership Excellence and Customer Focus
Undertake any other duties that may become necessary
Educated to bachelor’s degree level or experience in a similar role
R&D experience
Exposure to Quality Systems and Standards with experience working in a regulated environment
Prior experience in the Healthcare and/or Microbiology industry
Service operational experience (healthcare industry - desirable)
Strong communication skills- both written and verbal
Computer literate- with the ability of using MS applications
Methodical and analytical approach
Organisational skills
Ability to work to own initiative and under pressure
National and International travel required
