Position Summary

Regional Role can be based anywhere is the Southern UK.

This role is part of the device repair business unit that delivers repair services for surgical instruments, rigid and flexible endoscopes, and complex surgical power devices, in addition to the manufacture and supply of surgical instruments.

The successful candidate is responsible for supporting these sales activities in the assigned region through the delivery of department assessments, training and associated initiatives in-market and supporting the sales team in complex Customer problem solving and solutions. Responsible for designing and delivering training to both internal and external Customers related. Increases regional sales revenues and profitability.
 

Duties

1.    Works closely with individual Territory Managers and Customers, analysing Customer needs, and identifying customised solutions.
2.    Designs and implements a Customer Education programme; conducts Customer training on-site to support business needs; conducts equipment PPMs as necessary.
3.    Utilizes advanced Customer interaction sales skills to create and deliver presentations customized to individual Customers of varying levels including Managers, Directors, Clinicians, and other senior level Customers.
4.    Undertakes departmental assessments and departmental audits that support Customers and commercial activities, and provides appropriate reporting.
5.    Assists the Regional Manager in training Territory Managers on developing effective opportunity plans. 
a.    Coaches and trains Territory Managers on how to effectively understand customer needs and resolving customer needs to obtain business results. 
b.    Maintains the STERIS IMS CRM system as required to document Customer information, sales activities, and other information required by the Company. 
6.    Manages key initiatives related to sales activities, including supporting the implementation of new business opportunities and contracts.
7.    Utilizes market and Customer knowledge, along with research material to analyse opportunities to identify sales leads and target accounts in order to increase penetration. 
8.    Maintains current knowledge of market trends, new product developments, and Customer needs. 
9.    Provides assistance with preparation for and participates in trade shows.
10.    Provides Customer services for vacant territories as needed.
 

Preferred Experience

•    Relevant experience in an Endoscopy and/or Sterile Services/Theatres environment.
•    Customer focused – ability to communicate with customers, understand their needs, meet their objectives and resolve any issues or problems (conflict mgmt. skills)
•    Passion for designing and delivering training, for both internal and external stakeholders
•    Ability to collaborate with colleagues to identify customer needs
•    Excellent attention to detail 
•    Self-motivated; ability to work with little to no supervision 
•    Adaptable – ability to be flexible in schedule and meet customer demands 
•    Able to work for long periods and in fast-paced environment 
•    Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage projects, communicating effectively to both internal and external stakeholders

Location

This role will be based subject to Region covered. As the role is to develop business across a Region in the UK, there is an expectation that the candidate will travel extensively throughout the geographical range of the Region, including regular visits to division offices, primarily in Northampton and Hoddesdon. A full clean driving license is required. A company car or allowance is provided
