Summary
STERIS Australia is seeking a dynamic Territory Manager to drive growth in our Infection Prevention Technology (IPT) Reprocessing division. This role is pivotal in achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and delivering clinical expertise to support optimal patient outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement territory sales plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and all other clinical and non-clinical stakeholders within the territory.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to educate healthcare providers on the benefits of the products.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and drive growth
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, and clinical support to ensure successful product launches and effective customer support.
- Analyse sales data and market insights to make informed decisions and adjust sales strategies as needed.
- Meet or exceed sales quota and achieve other key performance indicators as established by the company.
- Travel as necessary within specific geographic territory to optimize product exposure and penetration. Travel should be in conjunction with established call activity, account management functions, achieving current sales objectives and developing new opportunities for the IPT Reprocessing product portfolio.
- Established contact person for hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff as it relates to IPT Reprocessing business.
- Participate in planning and implementing the marketing and sales strategy.
- Collaborate with National Sales Manager on annual sales forecast, business plan development, for increasing revenue within territory.
- Maintain open communication with assigned Customer Service Advocate. Price quotes, mailers and samples will be performed and issued through assigned personnel.
- Troubleshoot and evaluate all product reliability issues in assigned territory. Product issues must be reported to customer service advocate and Marketing for rapid response initiation.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business (or equivalent experience).
- Adequate experience in field sales or territory management.
- Medical device sales experience highly preferred.
- IPT reprocessing product knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel at least 50%.
- High energy, resilience, and a passion for achieving goals.
