Senior CI Technician

Position Summary

Provide process and quality support by ensuring standards are being met throughout the process. Lead real-time problem solving. Generate and implement process improvement ideas to maintain a competitive productivity level.

Duties

1. Perform hands-on execution of Lean transformation projects.
2. Deliver Lean curriculum per the Lean Course Catalog. Conduct in-person training ranging from orientation to problem solving to lean principles and tools.
3. Facilitate Kaizen events; monitor and measure to ensure sustainment of results. Provide guidance to stakeholders on Lean tools and principles including set-up reduction, standardized work, value stream mapping, and problem solving.
4. Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions including Capital Expenditure requests.
5. Perform cost/benefit analysis.
6. Maintains current knowledge and serves as a technical expert in Lean tools and principles including set-up reduction, standard work, value stream mapping, A3 problem solving, etc.
7. Assess a situation and determines if an issue is machine related or process related and takes corrective action.
8. Assist with production qualification runs including capability assessment.
9. Participate in and support projects that are driven by business initiatives.
10. Provide training, instruction, and guidance to associates on Quality/Process standards.
11. Analyze data to determine process/product conformance and trends.
12. Identify and implement process improvement concepts.
13. Other duties that may be assigned.

Education Degree

Required Experience

• Experience in a lean environment. (2 to 4 years)
