The Sr. Pricing Analyst will be responsible for pricing-related analysis and reporting for the Dental Segment. Primary responsibilities include supporting the sales team by reviewing pricing strategy, responding to inquiries, and providing price input and recommendations for bids and contracts. This position will maintain pricing for all contracts, including but not limited to Schools, Group Practices, Community Health Centers, and Government. In addition, this position will assist the Commercial Finance team in supporting the Sales, Marketing, FP&A, and Accounting groups in business activities related to sales and pricing analysis. Frequent contact with internal customers and occasional contact with external customers is required and often involves working under tight deadlines and quick turnarounds.

Duties

  • Serve as a subject matter expert by providing detailed pricing insight and thorough business recommendations based on the internal and competitive pricing data analysis.
  • Proactively partner with country managers to gather competitive pricing information and customer price updates for the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. 
  • Conduct and lead Annual Pricing Review with shared accountability with Marketing, Sales, and Finance to update Retail, Wholesale, and School pricing.
  • Maintain all dealer contract pricing.
  • Calculate and update all new product pricing updates in SAP regularly and ensure accuracy
  • Maintain all customer discounts, promotional pricing, convention pricing, and program contract pricing.
  • Provide weekly and monthly customer pricing/margin reporting. Track customer and national promotions and identify margin gain/loss and pricing variances. Provide recommendations on adjustments needed to increase profitability.

Other Duties

  • Maintain central filing system to track customer and all dealer contract updates. 
  • Review and analyze monthly dealer chargeback reports, manage exception reporting, and lead resolution efforts for any discrepancies that have been identified.
  • Import chargeback data to SAP/Business Warehouse (BW) to allow an accurate picture of Average Selling Prices. Export data to report on customer categories, growth, and opportunities.
  • Partner with Document Control team on updating material master in SAP/BW.
  • Audit customer account set-ups, pricing, and customer reporting divisions.
  • Independent identification of data concerns and clean-up of data in SAP/BW.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Business, Finance, or Accounting Degree Preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience. Pricing, dealer contract, and chargeback experience preferred.
  • Advanced PC skills: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, and Business Warehouse
  • Strong analytical skills: Recognizing patterns in data, information, or events, drawing logical conclusions, and making recommendations for action.
  • Strong communication skills: Listening effectively, transmitting information accurately and understandably, and seeking feedback.
