The Role

The primary role of this position is to support the timely execution of marketing plans, new product development and projects, including managing complex marketing projects, analyzing data on existing and potential markets, and providing general marketing support in align with the current product strategies.   This position assists general managers and product managers in managing projects which support key product marketing initiatives. 

What You'll Do

  • Analyze data, developing a general knowledge of products, assisting in product planning and competitive product comparisons, developing thought leaders, planning and supporting seminars/study clubs, and product survey support. Coordination and management of key marketing projects, as determined by the Product Managers, such as: management of continuing education courses and seminars, participation in new product launches, online market research, and product development.*
  • Prepare or assimilate various weekly and monthly marketing reports and distribute to the appropriate team(s).*
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and communication materials. Coordinates the distribution of internal and external marketing literature. Lead logistics for specialty meetings and seminars, including maintaining databases, master documents, training instrumentation, products and supplies.*
  • Organize and schedule VIP doctor visits.
  • Design and produce materials to support product management using a variety of media (e.g. PowerPoint).*
  • Create required sales reports or aid market analysis for dental products categories.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets in Excel and prepare PowerPoint presentations.*

  • Design visual materials utilizing scanning, internet, clip art, and other sources.
  • Manage database of equipment reps and specialists.
  • Compile and analyze marketing research surveys and results.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Product Marketing teams as needed.

What You'll Need To Be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years of marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at one time
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to think fast on one’s feet.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer interface skills
  • Proven command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, including Excel and PowerPoint.
