We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join us at a skilled level in a division that drives the business forwards through innovation. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

•    Monthly Accounting
•    Responsible for assisting in the preparation of month end reporting across STERIS Solutions Ltd, STERIS Solutions Irish Branch and Albert Browne Ltd, including Accruals, Prepayments and Inventory
•    Responsible for the preparation of Balance Sheet Review and Reconciliations, including on Blackline, across STERIS Solutions Ltd, STERIS Solutions Irish Branch and Albert Browne Ltd
·    Deferred Revenue Accounting
•    Assisting with deferred revenue accounting
·    Fixed Asset Accounting
•    Responsible for assisting in all Fixed Asset accounting, reporting, monitoring and forecasting.
·    Government Financial Reporting
•    Responsible for assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT returns for Albert Browne Ltd/ STERIS Solutions Ltd VAT group, STERIS Solutions Ireland and STERIS Corporation.
•    Responsible for the preparation and submission of EC Arrivals for STERIS Solutions Ireland branch.
•    Plld preparation for Albert Browne Ltd.
·    Audit and Statutory Accounts
•    Responsible for audit tasks and documentation, liaison with external auditors, and contributing to the generation of Statutory Accounts.
•    Responsible for audit tasks and documentation, liaison with internal auditors.
•    PAYE compilation for STERIS Solutions Ltd and STERIS Solutions Ltd Ireland branch and Albert Browne Ltd. PSA preparation and submission for STERIS Solutions Ltd.
·    Budgeting & Forecasting
•    Responsible for assisting in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
·    Intercompany Accounting
•    Agree intercompany balances across respective entities in your remit. Ensure intercompany recharges are agreed and processed via AGIS in line with Group timetable and balanced in Oracle.
·    Stocktaking
•    Responsible for assisting in Stocktaking process.
•    Working with Change
·    Look for ways of improving the process.
·    Assist in any implementation to improve the processes and/or systems within the Finance Function.
•    Team Working
·    Work efficiently with other teams or departments internally or externally.
·    Ensure that you have a full understanding of each area within your remit.
·    Highlight to your manager where you have any training needs.
•    General
·    Ensure compliance with SOX principles and procedures within the Financial Accounting function.

YOUR VALUED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Part qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ACMA
• Competency in software packages, to include Excel, Word and other Microsoft applications
• Enjoys problem solving
• Educated to a high standard
• Self motivated and enthusiastic
• Good communicator and Team Worker
• Ability to work under pressure
• Questions the status quo, ability to escalate issues.
