The Advanced Business Analyst, will be an expert in understanding the many aspects of the Business, collaborating in highly complex problem spaces. You’ll be effective in strong planning, communication and presentation skills, have the capability to listen and influence, and be proficient in project quality management, in-depth practical knowledge of project or programme management methodologies, tools and techniques.
This role of Advanced Business Analyst, is a leader in the business analysis community, actively shares knowledge and is seen as a go-to person in the field, owns, maintains & builds the main stakeholder relationships.
WORKING PATTERN
- Mon-Fri, 0900 – 1700
- Hybrid working – 1 day per week
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Directs programmes to identify opportunities to perform business activities in alternative ways. Leads the exploration of ways to improve process efficiency and enhance business outcomes. Enables others to recognise the potential for change in potentially ambiguous and complex settings. Oversees the implementation of proposed improvements.
- Directs the approach to requirements management. Enables others to select and apply appropriate life cycle methods. Influences the prioritisation of complex requirement sets, enabling long-term strategic decision-making and short-term tactical fixes. Ensures the proposed solutions align with the organisational strategy and vision.
- Develops engagement strategies and lead on communication with stakeholders at all levels. Actively establishes relationships and applies the benefits of professional networks. Acts as a point of consultation and escalation to resolve conflict in complex situations.
- Sets the direction of scope and methodology for the representation of real-world complex situations across a programme or organisation. Documents conceptual models to support strategic planning and decision making.
- Leads individuals and teams through activities to understand and break down complex problems.
- Coaches and leads teams in Agile and Lean practices, determining the right approach for the team to take and evaluating this through the life of a project. Thinks of new and innovative ways of working to achieve the right outcomes. Acts as a recognised expert and advocate for the approaches, continuously reflecting and challenging the team
- Proficient in applying standards, practices, codes, and assessment and certification programmes relevant to the IT industry.
- Good understanding of healthcare industry professional bodies, organisations, and standards and how they apply to quality processes within the industry. Shows an awareness of what other sectors are doing. Understands what is most important and applicable"
- An experienced and competent communicator, establishing relationships, contributing to an open culture, and maintaining contacts with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines. Comfortably tailors your presentation skills dependent on audience, leading sessions with Customers, internal staff, and Senior Managers.
- Proficient in using different communication tools that allow people to create, share, or exchange information, ideas, and pictures/videos in virtual communities and networks to better enhance your presentation capabilities.
- Leads the planning of activities, delegation of tasks, assessment of timelines and provides regular updates to Senior Management.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience working across highly complex projects and/or across multiple products.
- Strong stakeholder engagement & relationship.
- Project management experience as part of software delivery.
SKILLS
- Excellent ability to plan, organise, and structure work.
- Skilled Agile practitioner.
- Experience with networking concepts and hosting solutions for web-based products, (Azure and SQL databases).
- Highly skilled in Excel, Word, and other word processing software programs.
- Manages multiple complex projects.
- Drives compliance to standards for business analysis work.
- Leads team through processes in new product development.
- Experience in business continuous process improvement.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
