Position Summary

STERIS Instrument Management Services are seeking an office-based Administrator. 

The purpose of the role is to assist with all functions of the department. The successful candidate must have strong analytical skills, great attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Candidates must also have sound experience in using MS Excel and Word.

Hours:                    30 hours per week (with the potential to increase to 40 hours) / 5 days per week


  • Create the relevant inventory, purchase, and sales parts in the operating system.
  • Maintain supplier price lists, updating in the operating system, and resolve any pricing issues.
  • Carry out regular checks to ensure all the product information held in the system is correct and up to date.
  • Establish good working relationships with our suppliers and Customers.
  • To assist in the sourcing of alternatives products.
  • Collating data relevant to both sales and purchasing trends.
  • To process sales orders, confirming delivery and receipting goods in.
  • Create inventory and noninventory purchase orders.
  • Investigate invoice queries.
  • To assist the UK Procurement department.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will possess initiative, drive and enthusiasm for the role. Will be an excellent team player and when fully trained, will be confident, decisive and proactive.


Educated to a good general standard with demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities.

Minimum NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or equivalent required.

Computer Literate using various Microsoft packages
