Position Summary

Utilizing knowledge of STERIS products, service, and systems, the Sr. Business Systems Analyst interprets business requests to improve and maintain business systems.

 

This role is fully REMOTE.

Duties

As Sr. Business Systems Analyst you will lead projects, system releases and administer activities associated with various STERIS Business Systems. These systems include Siebel, Field Service Management Platform, IoT and Inventory systems. 

 

Project Management (65%):

  • Lead key projects or releases, including leading cross-functional teams to drive changes or processes to completion. 
  • Provide presentations / updates to key stakeholders and others as required
  • Communicate project updates and process changes to impacted management and users.
  • Manage the validation of business systems to ensure regulatory compliance.

 

System Releases:

  • Effectively interacted with all levels of the Service Business to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of new or existing Service Business Systems releases.
  • Identify system or business process enhancements, gather supporting requirements and develop functional documents.
  • Create, edit and execute test cases that encompass system changes
  • Identify country specific seed data and setup test environments to support each country during testing
  • Identify system enhancements and defects to improve user experience and meet service goals.
  • Transfer user requests into design requirements.
  • Assist with developing and issuing communications for point releases, upgrades and process changes

 

Training:

  • Build, maintain and deliver content for global Systems Training
  • Work closely with key stake holders to ensure that ongoing training needs are identified and met.
  • Optimize training delivery methods to maximize effectiveness and system adoption (in person, virtual, video, user guides)
  • Provide updates to all training material, including user guides, videos, etc., to support latest version release
  • Mentor newer to career team members and assist with knowledge transfer.
  • Deliver critical feedback and coaching

Reporting and Analytics (10%):

  • Create and maintain relevant reporting for assigned project / system
  • Support ad-hoc report requests from service leadership
  • Analyze data to provide key insights to inform service management of processes and objectives

Technical, Development and Process Support (25%):

  • Provide on-going support for the Service Business Systems and related systems to ensure department and Service goals are achieved.
  • Identify root cause of system issues, provide corrective action to management.
  • Identify process gaps to end-users to reduce issues and errors, create and provide documentation to support processes
  • The development and use of no-code and low-code process automation tools
  • Ability to design processes to achieve functional and user requirements.
  • Ability to translate process / user requirements into software design specifications.
  • Ability to use no-code and low-code platforms to automate simple process workflows and generate process KPIs and visual management tools.

What skills, abilities and experience is needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
  • Experience working with systems and software's focused on Field Services / Field Operations required.
  • Experience in business system applications (2+ years).
  • Experience managing a product release/project.
  • Must have a working knowledge of general business operations (4+ years).
  • Database management skills (4+ years).
  • Requires strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, the ability to investigate, assess and recommend solutions
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies
  • Leadership skills that allows them to be able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with others in team-oriented environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry tools and techniques to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model and analyze requirements.

 Pay range for this opportunity is $78,500 - $109,987. This position is eligible for 10% Bonus Participation

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability.  Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
