The Role

As a Business Strategy Analyst, you will work closely with the Business Strategy Deployment Manager to collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams while working to develop and support important data-driven decisions.  You will play a crucial role in gathering, modeling and reporting on market intelligence and business data to create and refine new paths forward for the Life Sciences organization.  

 

 This is role is considered Hybrid with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Headquarters minimum 2 days per week.

What You'll Do

  • Research market conditions, industry trends, leading and lagging indicators, competitive dynamics and disruptive forces 

  • Communicate and collaborate with global Life Sciences team on focus projects and products

  • Analyze data to substantiate key strategic initiatives

  • Account for strategic alignment across functional teams and Equipment, Service and Consumables business segments

    • Responsible for presenting progress at strategy team meetings

    • Serve as SME for assigned projects and initiatives

  • Manage the regular balanced scorecard review meetings by providing reports on KPIs and key initiatives.

Needed Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Business, Marketing, STEM or similar.

  • 2+ years Analytical experience (Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc.)  

  • Demonstrated ability to structure and manage a project from start to finish

  • Communication and presentation experience to include clarifying and summarizing issues.

  • Experience working with technical and strategic teammates to design solutions and building relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision, leading multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strategic, analytical and problem-solving experience.

  • Experience working on initiatives with a global scope.

  • Fluency in all Microsoft Office applications.
