Position Summary
The Vice President, Workflow Solutions Commercial Operations will lead global, Customer-facing teams focused on driving sales and implementation project revenue recognition, preserving recurring revenue and providing technical Customer support. You will lead a successful P&L, achieving sales & implementation schedule objectives, ensuring Customer retention at or better than historical levels, building and maintaining competent and high-performing Customer facing operational teams, and building & maintaining strong Customer relationships. You will lead and manage remote teams, offering subject matter leadership, strategic direction, financial stewardship, and operational discipline to continually advance Customer usage and competitive advantage of STERIS Workflow Software Products. You will work proactively collaborate with Group and Business Unit senior leadership to identify and action opportunities for revenue growth, margin improvement and drive impactful changes across the entire Healthcare sector.
*This is a remote position. Qualified candidates must currently reside in the continental U.S. with a preference for Eastern and Central time zones.
What You'll Do as a VP, Commercial Operations
- Deliver on operational and financial performance objectives including YOY growth targets, plan objectives, and budgets consistent with the goals and objectives of the business.
- Train, outfit and lead NA, EMEA, LATAM and APAC Implementation, Client Services and Tech Support teams to ensure product utilization, system proficiency, adoption of new features and continued investment in new, additional products and services.
- Work directly with Customers in a purpose-driven manner to drive continuous improvement and reliance on all of STERIS. Establish, reinforce, and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and define and execute lean initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce Customer complaints and drive efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of project work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to sustainably scale the business, provide business and commercial insights into best practices, provide strategic advice, and to prepare and fully operationalize installed Workflow Solutions products.
- Establish and maintain capacity levels required for backlog management, on-time delivery, and financial performance with respect to revenue expectations and expense management.
- Delivery of products consistent with proposals, contracts, statements of work, other applicable standards, and to the reasonable expectations of Customers.
- Make needed adjustments to capacity based on backlog and forecast to ensure alignment with budget and P&L.
- Ensure current and accurate project documentation in Salesforce and FinancialForce to ensure dashboard utility and required quantifiable performance measurement.
- Coach, develop, lead, and guide leaders and team members towards optimal performance while driving accountability for achieving goals and commitments in all regions accounting for all cultures.
- Ensure sufficient levels of cross-training amongst team members to maintain the flexibility across teams to sufficiently support one another during periods of peak demand which may exceed capacity.
- Actively drive people leading training and skills development necessary for the organization to support growth goals and other expectations.
- Lead all aspects of Operational performance reporting against KPIs for Routine Management.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 15+ years of Vendor and / or Provider experience, preferably related to medical sterile processing, operating rooms, IT, system implementation, and/or project management.
- 10+ years collaborating, leading, and working directly with other teams to execute strategies and deliver the desired Customer experience.
- 10+ years of demonstrated people leadership, management of managers, and teams with a track record of performance.
- 10+ years experience leading, directing, and controlling complex, highly technical operations, or organization.
- Travel 25% Domesitic, 5% International
Preferred:
- Currently residing in Eastern or Central time zone.

- Strong leadership abilities to manage and influence change through matrix managed organization.
- Visible leadership skills and executive presence; can motivate individuals and teams to achieve program and project objectives.
- Ability to translate/provide cogent advice to senior management regarding the impact of emerging industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and compliance enforcement on affiliate business strategies.
- Proven ability to implement actionable performance improvement plans required.
- Understanding and experience with risk management techniques.
- Sound business acumen in making strategic decisions based on situational data, observations, and analysis. Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities; a strategic thinker.

Pay range for this opportunity is $190,825.00 - $235,725.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
