Position Summary

This is a remote position. Work from home anywhere you choose in the continental U.S. during standard business hours (There is a regular team touch base at 9 AM CST daily.)

Join a small and talented team of developers in maturing a surgical asset management application using the latest tools and frameworks. Know that the product you work on contributes to saving lives in the operating room and reducing patient care costs. Expect to play a key part in extending application functionality and supporting the assimilation of new technologies and market opportunities. Gain valuable experience and contribute to our pursuit of the best coding patterns, practices, and Agile ALM techniques.

What you will do

    •    Develop software to advance the leadership position of SPM in the sterile processing industry (Including working with experts to develop specifications, writing the code, and participating in code reviews)
•    Support development team initiatives (Including participating in team meetings, offering feedback, and following processes)
•    Communicate well with other team members and stakeholders
•    ASP.NET Core, MVC, EF Core & React for web applications
•    C# .NET with MVVM, WPF, WCF, Unity, Entity Framework, & MSSQL for desktop clients and services
•    Xamarin for mobile application clients
•    Bug repository & Dedicated QA testing
•    Unit Testing & SOLID programming practices
•    Azure DevOps ALM & Continuous Integration
•    Scrum based process – including cross-functional team with each developer expected to contribute to every area and participate in negotiating the best implementation strategies
•    Collaborate on Microsoft Teams

What you need to be successful

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 

• At least 3 years of experience with an in-depth knowledge of C# ASP.NET Core and React
o    C# .NET and WPF knowledge will be helpful   
•    Comfortable with the other technologies mentioned previously
•    Experience with SOLID or other Agile programming practices, and firm grasp on OOP
•    Excellent work ethic, personal integrity, and ability to self-manage
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
•    Ability to clearly communicate over phone and through web meetings
