Position Summary
As the Senior Director, Clinical Operations, you will lead the charge in transforming operational processes, managing production, and driving excellence across multiple onsite customer engagements. This role will require nationwide, overnight travel up to 25%.
What will you do as the Senior Director, Clinical Operations?
- Lead with Impact: Manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of multiple on-site sterile processing departments, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
- Innovate and Inspire: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging cutting-edge practices and quality assurance to set new standards.
- Strategic Risk Management: Actively identify and mitigate risks, implementing sustainable strategies that safeguard operations and enhance resilience.
- Dynamic Leadership: Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing leadership teams, driving motivation and excellence in service delivery.
- Compliance Champion: Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory standards, including the Department of Health, TJC, DNV, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, and AORN, maintaining the highest levels of compliance and safety.
- Quality Excellence: Uphold product and service quality standards exceeding performance targets and customer expectations.
- Customer-Centric Solutions: Resolve customer issues with agility and precision, developing actionable plans to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance satisfaction.
- Transformative Implementation: Lead the rollout of new policies, processes, and programs, aligning with customer contracts and organizational goals.
- Strategic Direction: Provide visionary leadership for training and development initiatives, shaping the future of the Instrument Processing Division.
The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed:
Require:
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of leadership experience in multi-site Sterile Processing operations, P&L responsibility, and logistics/distribution; or High School Diploma with 18+ years of leadership experience in multi-site Sterile Processing operations, P&L responsibility, and logistics/distribution.
- 6+ years in the healthcare sector or tertiary care hospitals.
- Direct management experience with large-scale initiatives involving significant revenue, large staff, diverse stakeholder groups, and complex organizational matrix.
- Extensive knowledge and a track record of positive results in organizational growth and profitability.
- Experience in Lean and continuous improvement environments.
- Subject Matter Expert in Medical Compliance and Regulatory standards (15+ years).
- Experience in developing and implementing training plans (5+ years).
- Prior budget and P&L planning experience for a business unit or department (5+ years), with emphasis on growth, review, and income generation.
Preferred:
- Graduate level degree.
- Leadership and management experience in a labor union environment.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
Pay range for this opportunity is $135,250.00 - $202,912.50. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
