Position Summary

The Key Account Manager of Strategic Markets is responsible for driving incremental sales and market share growth within the Group Practice and Dental Service Organization (DSO) segments by developing a relationship with key Customers and our distribution partners, positioning HuFriedyGroup (HFG) as their complete, innovative solution for infection prevention, instrument manufacturing, and instrument reprocessing workflows. (This position can be remote as long as the candidate lives near major airport).



Primary responsibilities will include but not limited to Strategic Accounts development, retention, and penetration, while working closely with the HFG North American Sales Team, Strategic Business Units and Leadership team.  The position serves as a sales project, clinical subject matter expert leader for developing strategic business plans for Customers or future Customers.  The plans are inclusive of the following:  key objectives, strategies, tactics and corresponding action steps. This is done with the intent of influencing, disrupting and aligning key decision makers on the need to create, implement and enforce infection prevention and instrumentation manufacturing and protocols through a multitude of clinical pathways in constant focus of infection prevention and Customer compliance.

  • Partners with Commercial team (Strategic Market leadership, Regional Sales, & Sales Operations) members to identify, secure and grow high Customer base
  • Responsible for revenue growth across large DSO’s and Group Practices; YOY Revenue increase & contract retention; successful contract closure.  Meets or exceeds organizational KPI’s and sales targets.  Effectively plans, prepares, and executes sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Leverages internal and external tools and resources to educate targeted Customers and stakeholders on the causes, risks, costs, penalties, and exposure of healthcare associated infections.

Education Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

  • Minimum of eight (8) years successful sales experience with 3+ years of dental sales experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HuFriedyGroup product portfolio; specific depth required pertaining to the clinical aspects of HuFriedyGroup products.
  • Must be able to prospect and identify top Group Practices/DSO’s and partner with region sales teams
  • Strong analytical skills and proactive problem-solving skills are critical to success.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships with all levels of decision makers to include Senior Vice President and C-suite decision makers.
  • Possess business acumen for strategic thinking and tactical execution as it relates to Customer service, project prioritization, and funnel/territory management
  • Must be flexible and perform a variety of complicated tasks (multitask) with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
  • Position requires good interpersonal skills, clear and concise communication skills, and teamwork in dealing with people at all levels in the company.
  • Must be able to travel 40% of the time within the U.S.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. drivers license
