Position Summary

The Marketing and Brand Management department at HuFriedyGroup is a strategic business driver, implementing our company mission and vision across all marketing channels and brand touchpoints. The Digital Media Strategist is a key member of this team.

The Digital Media Strategist will be responsible for managing all organic digital content as well as all digital media buying. They will develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. They will manage all the SEO, SEM, Display and Social Media programs that suppor­t the company’s strategic marketing and growth objectives. They will collaborate with the digital marketing specialist to execute on campaigns and activities to drive valuable traffic. They will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing trends to measure effectiveness of various campaigns. Must be innovative, detail-oriented, persistent, and a savvy communicator capable of synchronizing the efforts of key stakeholders under one vision aimed at supporting business objectives. 

This position will serve as a strategic component across our integrated marketing approach. This individual must be results-driven professional with exceptional detail and knowledge, including the latest and emerging trends, around digital marketing, specifically: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO, Google AdWords, Google AdSense, and Google DoubleClick.

Duties

  • Provide input on strategic recommendations on paid search strategy. This includes managing keywords, competitive/conquest campaigns, buying networks, etc..
  • Create strategies with search engines, developing and testing new keywords, managing Pay-Per-Click campaigns, analyzing click-through data and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Under marketing leadership, drive organic search strategy and execution to implement best practices aligned to our paid search strategy, and influence the brand experience globally.
  • Collaboration with design team to produce creative that delivers results through SEO, SEM, Display and social media implementing best practices.
  • Execute our social media strategy, including daily activity moderation, social listening, appropriate escalation and responding on social properties.
  • Under the direction of marketing leadership, build social content designed to create valuable and engaging interactions.
  • Manage all analytics reporting, taking action on insights and measuring and proving ROI.
  • Present results and findings with the business stakeholders to identify issues and demonstrate problem solving ability.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends, platform changes, best practices as well as the competitive landscape and communicate or educate as needed to balance of the organization.

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years related experience, ideally inclusive of the following: proven working experience in digital marketing, relevant experience in social media strategy, experience pulling actionable insights from marketing analytics
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
