Position Summary

The Marketing and Brand Management department at HuFriedyGroup is a strategic business driver, implementing our company mission and vision across all marketing channels and brand touchpoints. The Digital Marketing Specialist, Email & Social is a key member of this team. In this role, you’ll work on a variety of exciting projects including supporting the launch of our email marketing strategies, marketing automation ideas, social media campaigns, and so much more.  You will be responsible for developing, executing and measuring success for each of these. You’ll get the opportunity to work with our design team and marketing channel owners while also closely collaborating with cross-functional business stakeholders and outside vendors. Our business and product portfolio continue to grow, which means there are always new projects and exciting opportunities to work on.

This position plays a leading role in shaping and enabling email and social media strategy. Beyond helping to shape a long-term vision, this person will drive execution on a tactical level and be required to deliver additional value to the company in the form of increased reach, engagement, and performance.

In addition, this role follows industry trends and keeps up on best practices to bring their experience, knowledge, and creativity to the table to try new things.


  • Create and implement email and social media strategy, best practices, and optimization.
  • Develop new email campaigns, strategies and workflows.
  • Influence brand experience digitally at the global level.
  • Manage day to day email marketing operations (e.g. email list management, email creation in Pardot user interface, email A/B testing plans, etc.)
  • Manage day to day social media marketing operations:
    • Post scheduling through Sprout Social
    • Track, measure and report results; use data to optimize and evolve our social marketing strategies.
    • Monitor social media trends, tools, apps, and effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media techniques.
    • Monitor engagements and respond to customer comments on all media platforms as appropriate. Know when to hide, block and respond.
    • Manage Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter profiles

  • Management of social media partners/influencers
  • Collaborate with Communications Specialist to create visual content and creative copy that is consistent with company marketing and branding guidelines for all email and social media content.
  • Partner with Digital Media Strategist to monitor, track, report and optimize all initiatives for both channels, and prove ROI.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Specialists and product marketing to develop campaign materials and messaging.
  • Assist with other email and product marketing tasks as needed.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge.

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communication

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, communications or related business discipline
  • B2B experience preferred
  • Track record of success working with the business stakeholders to identify issues and demonstrate problem solving ability.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify, interpret, and use marketing analytics
  • Solid technical, business acumen and understanding to communicate with teams from various cross-functional areas.
  • Strong communication, writing, grammar, spelling and punctuation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media for business use and technical familiarity with popular social media platforms and tools and their respective participants (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.).
  • Familiar with web, email, social media tools (Pardot, Constant Contact, Yes Mail, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Social Pilot, Listrak)
  • Experience/Understanding A/B testing
  • Keeps up with the ever-evolving technology landscape and brings fresh ideas to reach targeted audiences through existing and emerging channels
  • Curiosity and passion about digital marketing, staying abreast of industry news, best practices and emerging trends and capabilities
  • Self-directed and able to take on responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Multi-tasker with great time management skills
