What you will do with us:

  • Performs technical troubleshooting on a variety of modalities, technologies, and locations.
  • Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on high volume, validated processing equipment.
  • Reviews preventative maintenance tasks for effectiveness and frequency and recommends any continuous improvement changes or Lean practices for implementation to management.
  • Optimizes processing and reduces downtime by performing predictive and preventative maintenance on all equipment, machinery and facility buildings
  • Participates in the installation of new equipment as required; maintaining electrical system, including facility lighting by installing and repairing wiring and fixtures; and performing general maintenance tasks, including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
  • Contributes to maintaining a safe, secure and clean workplace by conducting the daily, weekly, quarterly and semi-annual safety/maintenance inspections according to pre-established guidelines and schedules; completes related paperwork in a timely and accurate manner to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, while adhering to all safety procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), following Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and complying with all environmental requirements for waste and disposal.
  • Maintaining a spare parts program
  • Contributes to production efficiency by responding to maintenance calls on a 24 hour 7 days per week basis as assigned, rotating on-call responsibility, investigates reason for call in, and either repairs or defers action for immediate supervisor decision
  • Complies with all environmental requirements for waste.
  • Monitors production efficiency by maintaining and analyzing a production downtime record.
  • Review work instructions along with vital policies and procedures
  • Take part in on-the-job training, overseen by your Hiring Manager

Education Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED

What you will need as a Maintenance Technician:

Basic:

  •  High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience in positions demonstrating knowledge of maintenance systems in an industrial environment (ex: mechanical, electrical)

  • Lift up to 50 lbs. - due to the physical nature of the job, requiring strength and endurance

  • Demonstrate a knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics or electrical applications

  • Demonstrate an ability to read blueprints and schematics

  • Ability to effectively read, write and verbally communicate in English

Preferred:

  • Advanced Troubleshooting skills

  • HVAC/Plumbing/Conveyance Experience 

  • PLC or Controls Experience

Condition of employment:

  • Pass a background check, drug screen, and annual physical evaluation Demonstrate the ability to always follow safety rules

  • Successfully complete the company Operator training certification and pass the annual recertification test

Other:

  • Demonstrate the desire to learn, be productive and contribute to the team

  • Demonstrate computer literacy and critical math skills

 Pay range for this opportunity is $28.00 - $39.25.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
