Join our team and make a difference as a Medical Device Assembler, working at our Brooklyn Park facility Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. 

Position Summary

Executes hand and machine-aided assembly of medical products and components in both cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments.  Executes in-process testing and inspection activities. May assist in protocol execution through assembly and test activities. Conducts line set-up and line clearance activities.

Duties
  1. Reads and demonstrates understanding of procedures, forms and additional instruction provided for medical product assembles as evidenced by assembly and inspection activities. 70 - 80%
  2. Conducts in-process testing, and inspection as required. 10 - 12%
  3. Ensures clean and orderly production areas. 8 - 10%
  4. Participates in document reviews and document changes to ensure process clarity and completeness as requested by supervision. 2%
  5. Reports ‘in-process’ supply and component concerns or needs in a timely manner. 2%

Education Degree
  • High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
  1. Minimum 1 year experience in the workforce, regulated industry preferred.
  2. Successful completion of trainee program in Assembly and Packaging, demonstrating ability to meet expectations for attendance, quality, quantity and performance standards
  3. Demonstrated good problem solving skills.
  4. Ability to follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  5. Demonstrated attention to detail.
  6. Requires ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
  7. Ability to understand and follow procedures.
  8. Flexibility to perform job functions on different customer lines.
  9. Demonstrated ability to comply with all Safety requirements including mandatory stretching exercises and activities and mentor Assemblers in Safety awareness.
