Position Summary

Responsible for collaborating with IT management, IT supervisors, IT developers, and end users to understand business requirements and processes that drive the analysis and design of sound functional solutions. Design, Setup/Configure, test, implement and support processes, modules, extensions and customizations in the Oracle E-Business Suite and ensures that solutions provided are aligned with business policies, strategies and complies with the organization's development and quality standards.

Duties

Proficient in system and process setup and troubleshooting system issues (system setup includes but is not limited to:  Inventory organizations, Items and Item Templates, Pricelists, Release Rules, Customers, Pricing Modifiers Formulas, legal entities, and operating units). Responsible for the entire design of a process flow.

Proficient in running oracle diagnostics, executing SQL statements, and working with Oracle Support to resolve incidents.

Advanced experience developing and delivering presentations that facilitates business leaders decision making.

Mentors and develops other Analysts and members of the IT department.

Advanced experience using API Wizard(APIW) and fluent in creating APIW reports and templates; with minimal technical assistance.

  Evaluates third party software and assists in making purchase recommendations.

  Advanced experience with Oracle Applications setup, usage, and troubleshooting techniques

  Serves as the functional expert for Oracle Applications; (primary go to resource for all functional Oracle Applications questions and issues.)

  Determines applicable test plans, and test cases for testing Oracle Applications, and custom functionality.

Required Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of relevant work experience.

Ability to perform setups of the following but not limited to:

-Inventory

-Locations organizations

-Sub-inventories

-Items

-Pricelists

-Customers

Ability to configure Oracle Applications to transact sales order transactions resulting in invoice creation. (4+)

Translation and documentation of business needs to technical requirements (4+)

Develop and implement educational curriculum around business processes and system capabilities (4+)

Creates validation review processes and test plans for system changes (4+)

Partners with Oracle developers to identify and resolve reported problems. (4+)

Advanced functional knowledge of Oracle Applications system setup and usage., fundamental understanding of business concepts and processes associated with the core areas of the business such as but not limited to:  Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Inventory, Bill of Materials, Purchasing and Order Management. 

Fundamental understanding of business concepts and processes used within the core areas of the business such as:  Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Inventory, Bill of Materials, Purchasing

Uses the data-load utility to streamline critical system setups such as but not limited to:  items, item categories, and pricelists.

Partners with Oracle Support to resolve problems identified within the Oracle E-Business Suite.
