With little or no supervision, the ECS travels between customer facilities providing on-site engineering control testing, certification, environmental monitoring, decontamination and repair/maintenance services throughout a healthcare, R&D or manufacturing facility, as required or requested.  

Duties

  • Travels between customer facilities providing on-site engineering control testing, certification, environmental monitoring, decontamination and repair/maintenance services, as required or requested.  
  • Maintains an organized, regularly updated service schedule.
  • Communicates duty status on a defined schedule.
  • Creates / maintains customer relationships while providing customers with guidance and recommendations.
  • Communicates daily with internal and external customers to provide job status.

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, mathematical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Demonstrates the ability to persist with a specific course of action.  Must be willing to commit the necessary time and effort to complete work assignments and do a quality job.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be self-motivated and work independently.  
  • Demonstrates strong networking and relationship building skills and proven consultative selling experience. 
  • Strong client service experience, must possess strong listening and client diplomacy skills. 
  • Position requires extensive lifting, walking, bending, and pushing.  Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.

Required Experience and Education

  • Education equivalent to graduation from high school, or GED.    
  • Must possess or can obtain medical clearance for respirator use.
  • May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.
