Position Summary

Responsible for assisting in planning, developing, and implementing training activities throughout the organization, specializing in internal and external training programs delivered to and by IMS employees.  Administers post training tests/evaluations to validate training success. Assesses and measures effectiveness of training processes. Oversees the Credentialed Education and Industry specific certification courses database and library.

Duties

  • Develops Training materials and programs specific to departmental needs.
  • Develops, implements, monitors completion of post training evaluations. Aggregates results from 
  • Ensures that there are two collaborative programs operating at all times; new hire training, as well as recurrent and quarterly training.
  • Works closely with Director of Training, Training Managers, and Instructional Designers to ensure materials are up to date and accurate for upcoming training courses.
  • Performs Instructional Design reviews on new and updated course materials.
  • Maintains records of training for Credendialed Education and Industry specific certification courses in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Facilitates training to teach employees proper methods on using CE and Industry certification materials.
  • Maintains and updates course catalog
  • Provides support in planning and implementation of large events and meetings.
  • Works closely with training managers to assist with the developing training programs and materials.
  • Works with the training team on evaluation strategies for current, new, and emerging programs.
  • Assists with designing and implementing multi-method approaches for collecting quantitative and qualitative data from program stakeholders, such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, community forums, and online reporting tools.
  • Manages and monitors evaluation data collected from stakeholders through surveys, interviews, focus groups, community forums, and online reporting tools. This includes developing quality control protocols and procedures. This will include some data entry.
  • Aggregates and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data to document key program processes, outputs and outcomes.

Associate's Degree

Required Experience

  • Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred
  • 2 years’ experience developing and implementing learning evaluations
  • 2 years’ experience developing instructor led and online training materials.
  • 3 years’ experience overseeing logistics for new and existing instructor led training courses onsite and offsite.
  • 3 years’ experience coordinating, tracking and organizing, accurate records of trainings, training programs, and employee participation.
  • 2 years’ experience developing courses using Articulate, Captivate, Adobe Products, and related software preferred
  • 4 years’ experience developing and implementing learning evaluations preferred
  • 4 years’ experience developing instructor led and online training materials preferred
  • 5 years’ experience overseeing logistics for new and existing instructor led training courses onsite and offsite preferred
  • 5 years’ experience coordinating, tracking and organizing, accurate records of trainings, training programs, and employee participation preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff in-person and via telephone.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software programs and systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to convert information and needs into practical training deliverables.
  • Ability to manage ad-hoc projects as requested by senior leaders
  • Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts and develop procedures, work instructions and training manuals.
