Primarily responsible for the statistical modeling, metric definition and visualization that enables business leaders to make decisions throughout the organization. 

Reports directly and works closely with the Director of Insights and Analytics to determine direction, goals, objectives and performance of business intelligence solutions.

Leads a team of Business Intelligence Analysts to develop and deliver a self-service interactive presentation platform utilizing a variety of technologies.

Ensures reports, dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) are accurate, high quality, intuitive to ensure utilization within the organization.

Works closely with senior management, other analyst, and key stakeholders across all other layers of management to gather requirements, design solutions, and align BI deliverables to meet organizational needs.

Serves as a Subject Matter Expert as well as a technical expert for IMS Personnel as it relates to systems, data, and reporting tools.

Identifies, analyzes, interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets and introduces policy recommendations based on complex data.

Participates in project planning to align project goals and timelines with available resources.

Develops training content, materials and educational curriculum for business stakeholders on analytical cubes, dashboards and analytical reporting.

Provides instruction on the effective use of IT tools used to gather information which supports the Customer analytical process. 

Demonstrates and trains sales, operations and finance staff on basic analytical interpretation, standard report execution, and presentation preparation.

  1. Perform basic/intermediate statistical analyses for projects and reports.
  2. Defines requirements for data warehousing and analytical data structures.
  3. Manages daily operations of automated BI systems and is accountable for report/dashboard design, development, and validation.
  4. Responsible for being the technical lead to the technologies used to develop the presentation and distribution layer of BI solutions, examples of these technologies are listed below in the specific skills.

Education Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

Minimum Bachelors' degree required with 7+ years' relevant work experience

Ability to design, analyze, translate and present complex data into management information

Experience in developing reports, dashboards, and data visualization techniques

Translating and documenting of business needs to technical requirements

Developing and implementing educational curriculum around reporting definitions and capabilities

Creates data validation review processes and test plans

Manages and best allocates BI Helpdesk requests to appropriate team members

Preferred Experience


  1. Advanced technical knowledge of SSRS Report Developer, SSRS Mobile Report Developer, Tableau, Crystal Reports, advanced MS Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  2. Understanding of business analytics related to sales, operational, financial and sterile processing.
  3. Ability to read and write basic SQL.
