The Lead Software Developer is responsible for high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within the mature technology and leading-edge technology environments.  Adheres to and defines coding standards, procedures and techniques and contributes to the technical code documentation.  Leads, designs, and implements technology solutions for applications, interfaces, and data conversions.  Reviews the Software Change Requests, evaluates and determines a solution. Keeps abreast of new technologies and/or programming languages. Performs unit and system testing.  
 

Duties

1.    Works with IT and Business Process Owners (BPO) to understand IT and business strategy with their implication to the platform/technology/application under responsibility.  
2.    Establishes and maintains working relationships with development team and functional analysts aligned to platform, technology and/or application.
3.    Lead code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.
4.    Prioritizes, manages and participates in the development and implementation of enhancements and/or changes.
5.    Leads or assists in technical design and system architecture.
6.    Leads project status reporting for assigned area
7.    Ensures applications adhere to security requirements and assists with configuring application environments.
8.    Performs data processing, extracting, transforming, loading, formatting, and distribution of application data.
9.    Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
10.    Assists and supports application deployments and rollouts.
11.    Works with internal and external services vendors to ensure superior service delivery.
12.    Oversees unit and system testing for platform, technology and application.
13.    Identifies and mitigates risks involved in delivering the solution on time.
14.    Participates in and provides support for cross technology process improvement initiatives. 
15.    Provides direction to individual and team workloads to ensure delivery to project milestones.
16.    Provide skill development and skill coaching to other team members.
17.    Regularly conducts information sharing sessions with impacted teams across business or technology organizations to promote the use of knowledge management processes and tools.
18.    Shares and leverages successful products, processes, and best practices across technology.
19.    Contributes to continuous improvement by leveraging quality improvement methodologies (Lean IT.).
20.    Creates development guidelines, standards, policies and procedures and disseminates to team.
21.    Ensures documentation is captured in a document management system and publicizes deliverable locations to ensure communication and access.
 

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Required Experience

1.    Minimum 10 years of full-time systems and applications development including systems/application analysis and design experience.
2.    8 years development experience with Microsoft Visual Studio C#, ASP MVC, ASP .NET, and Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.  
3.    5 or more years using Entity Framework.
4.    5 or more years using Web Services implementing SOAP or REST.
5.    5 or more years of business and systems analysis experience.
6.    5 or more years of software quality assurance (validation experience is a plus).
7.    2 or more years using Microsoft SSIS.
8.    2 or more years using Crystal Reports or SSRS.
9.    2 more years configuring or administering Microsoft IIS or Azure sites.

2.    10 or more years of JavaScript.

6.    2 or more years in Azure DevOps setup and configuration.
7.    2 or more years configuring Azure DevOps Projects and Pipelines.
8.    2 or more years mitigating security risks in applications.
9.    2 or more years participating in Continuous Improvement activities.

 Pay range for this opportunity is $91,250.00 - $127,575.00. This position is eligible for [BONUS PARTICIPATION] OR a [INSERT COMMISSION RATE RANGE, IF APPLICABLE] commission.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

 

Employees (and their families) may enroll in our company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, health savings account, voluntary benefits, supplemental life/AD&D plans and the company’s 401k plan. Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability.  Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
