Position Summary

The Instrument Processing (IP) Inside Sales Representative is responsible for meeting or exceeding the annual sales plan by establishing, growing, and maintaining relationships with Customers across the United States. The IP Inside Sales Representative will help create and lead an individualized and multi-faceted sales strategy that includes the development and maintenance of a robust prospecting list, meeting daily Customer calls, email goals and securing new business to place contract Sterile Processing Technicians. This role is exclusively an inside sales position with no outside sales responsibilities.

Duties

Grows sales revenue to annual sales targets by developing an individualized sales strategy to place contract Technicians across the United States.

Builds and maintains a prospecting list that includes Hospital and ASC contacts, Clinical leaders, C-suite executives, Supply Chain, and HR leaders for Customers across the United States.

Builds and maintains an active pipeline of potential Customers and tracks activity in a timely and accurate manner in CRM.

Supports the development of accurate forecasting goals for SPD Staffing on a monthly and quarterly basis that achieves all revenue and gross margin targets set by the Business Unit.

Explores opportunities to prospect and market contract Technicians through social media platforms while maintaining the requirements and guidelines established by STERIS.

Meets established prospecting calls and emails activity goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Responds efficiently and effectively to inquiries regarding SPD Staffing placement including pricing, contracting process, purchase order attainment and credentialing process.

Establish and maintain ongoing relationships and communications with STERIS IP counterparts, while participating in cross-functional field teams in strategizing, planning, communicating, and delivering SPD staffing to Customer base.

Proactively looks for new opportunities to gain HR and competitive industry knowledge from varied sources (internet, publications, social media, and customer interactions) and successfully completes all assigned new training program(s).

Works collaboratively with Sales Ops, Clinical Ops and BD Teams to ensure the sales, contracting and placement of SPD Technicians is handled correctly.

Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

1. Two years successful sales experience.

2. Bachelor’s Degree required (Business or Marketing preferred)

3. Exceptional communication skills

4. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay range for this opportunity is $60,000.00 salary. This position is eligible for commission.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
