Position Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst I is responsible for developing and supporting Business Intelligence solutions as part of the Enterprise Business Intelligence team.  Responsible for developing performance review processes. Works in conjunction with BI Team to implement business objectives, deploy previously defined KPIs, participates in new KPI definition, to manage objective outcomes.  Provides recommendations to Business Intelligence team that leverage outcome of empirical data analysis.


  • Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results
  • Perform basic statistical analyses for projects and reports
  • Develop & present quality dashboards
  • Develop recommendations based on outcomes
  • Works as a member of the business intelligence team to implement presentation-tier requirements
  • Identifies, analyzes, interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets and introduces policy recommendations based on complex data.
  • Analyzes and resolves issues with current and planned reporting systems (Oracle, UltiPro, etc.) as they relate to the integration and management of sales/operations
  • Build reports and data visualizations
  • Compiles information from various databases and data systems so that collected data can be integrated and applied to management level reporting.
  • Works with a variety of technologies (including but not limited to Tableau, SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, Excel, SAS) to design and develop and distribute business intelligence solutions.

  • Assists in research and documentation of project requirements
  • Responsible for managing response to and the completion of ad-hoc help-desk support requests.
  • Engages with BI Developers as needed for completion of ad-hoc requests

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics or similar degree required with 0-3 years' applicable experience.

Ability to design, analyze, translate and present complex data into management information

Experience in developing reports, dashboards, and data visualization techniques 

Translating and documenting of business needs to technical requirements

Demonstrated functional knowledge of business intelligence tools is highly desirable (Excel, Tableau, SSRS, Crystal Reports, SQL)

Requires strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving skills

Must be able to prioritize in a fast-paced, multi-task environment

Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision
