Assembly Cell Operator

Position Summary

The Assembly Cell Operator will perform multiple operations in the Assembly Cell to include folding, pack assembly, pack sealing, & finished goods case packing as directed by the Assembly Cell Team Leader. The Assembly Cell Operator will be proficient at all operations within the Assembly Cell and will rotate through these operations on a regular basis.

Duties

1. Verify integrity/quality of each product.
2. Follow procedure to ensure product is correctly folded.
3. Follow procedure to collect, assemble and pack product/product/components into pouches.
4. Verify reorder number/label coincides with packed product/components.
5. Verify count of completed product.
6. Verify integrity/quality of final product before final packaging.
7. Match reorder number on finished product to the case label provided.
8. Verify count as indicated on case label prior to final packaging.
9. Operate equipment to seal packs.
10. Troubleshoot to resolve issues with equipment.
11. Prepare shipping container to include labeling, packing and sealing.    
12. Follow all safety rules and requirements to meet all safety, quality and production goals.

Education Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

1. High school diploma or GED
2. 0-3 months in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
3. 1+ year of related experience preferred
4. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
5. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
6. Basic math, writing and data entry skills
7. Strong attention to detail
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
9. Good hand/eye coordination (manual dexterity)
10. Basic organizational skills
11. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
12. Able to spend long periods sitting/standing in a confined space
