Overview

Calibration Technicians are responsible for conducting in-house & external calibrations for STERIS instrumentation and customer instrumentation. You will be responsible for calibration report generation, maintaining all assigned test equipment and assuring equipment is in calibration.

What You Will Do

  • Become proficient in calibrating equipment.
  • Complete checklists, generation of raw data and final reports.
  • Maintain product documentation; implement appropriate corrective action as needed. 
  • Follow established processes and SOPs, to help maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
  • Assist (as needed) in receiving, identifying, labeling (if appropriate), and storing product as received to the calibration department.
  • Maintain and advance your technical skills, knowledge and abilities by completing assigned trainings. 
  • Assist in maintaining the electronic test equipment calibration program.

What You Need To Be Successful

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, and 6+ years in a technical position, or an Associate Degree and 2+ years in a technical position required.
  • Demonstrated ability to read/interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, schematics, and instrumentation manualsor cut sheets.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, and ability to learn our proprietary software systems.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as required for the role. Travel is estimated at 5%, but may fluctuate.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
