We are currently recruiting for a Tableau Developer. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at a skilled professional level.

This role is a key member of the EMEA Finance team. This role is both a leadership support role and a contributing role.

You will create complex analytical solutions that align with complex business needs, advance STERIS' data-driven culture across multiple divisions by coaching staff through formal training and on-the-job training during internal Customer interactions. You will also facilitate the development and support of the Finance Department to drive performance.

What's involved

  • Responsible for the statistical modelling, metric definition and visualization that enables business leaders to make decisions throughout the organization.
  • Participate in project planning to align project goals and timelines.
  • Present key insights to Senior Management with insightful recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Lead projects to develop and deliver a self-service interactive presentation platform utilizing a variety of technologies.
  • Ensure reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) are accurate, high quality, intuitive to ensure utilization within the organization.
  • Develop training content, materials, and educational curriculum for business stakeholders on data tools, dashboards, and analytical reporting.
  • Demonstrate and train sales, operations, business analysts, and finance staff on analytical interpretation, standard report execution, and presentation preparation.
  • Provide comprehensive review of financial and operational performance using data visualization across multiple forms of media.
  • Provide complex territory analytics with a comprehensive review business and operational performance.
  • Supply complete Customer engagement analysis and present recommendation results to organization.
  • Work closely with senior management and key stakeholders across all areas of management to gather requirements, design solutions, and align BI deliverables to meet organizational needs.

  • Ensure quality results including the ability to validate report results.
  • Eliminate obstacles for team to deliver results on time to project plan.
  • Ability to occasionally participate in meetings outside of normal business hours to accommodate Global internal and external Customers.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Professional Certification
  • 5-7 years BI development experience is required, in manufacturing and/or medical devices industry.
  • 2-3 years of experience in developing metrics. 
  • Strong resolution and problem solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen. 
  • Strong Excel, Tableau, Longview and PowerPoint skills.
  • Oracle, Cognos experience a plus.

  • Experience transforming complex datasets, code, and business requirements into easily understood actionable dashboards and reports
  • Experience leading cross functional project teams
  • Experience working directly with internal Customers to creatively solve their business problems using Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • Technical knowledge of PL/SQL and Tableau
