Position Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst has responsibility for creating, managing and executing Supply Chain systems and processes’ focused on planning, scheduling, forecasting, system development/improvement and S&OP.  The individual will report inventory levels and inventory turns through forecasting, monthly demand/supply plans S&OP and scheduling and system control and development. Key performance indicators include forecast accuracy, inventory value, inventory turns and customer satisfaction levels. The individual will need to work as part of a regional and global team to improve and meet business targets.


1.    Define and lead sourcing, procurement and broad supply chain improvement processes and strategies across:
2.    Supplier communication
3.    Systems and various tools
4.    Inventory turns
5.    Consignment process
6.    Develop improved Demand and Supply plans using system models to support the plans.
7.    Develop aggregated demand analysis.
8.    Participate in new product development with phase-in/phase out planning.
9.    Analyze statistical forecast and forecast error to recommend changes for inclusion in the demand plan.
10.    Develop tools to monitor statistical trends and analysis.
11.    Conduct a monthly demand consensus and supply meeting, to identify and resolve demand/supply issues, thereby elevating unresolved issues to the appropriate decision maker(s).
12.    Communicate results and long-term inventory expectations to required levels within the business
13.    Monitor consumption against the Master Schedule / Forecast.
14.    Lead the S&OP process, collaborating with sales, marketing and R&D.
15.    Lead MRP improvements to benefit KPI’s.
16.    Work closely with Purchasing to implement demand and monitor supplier performance
17.    Maintains Key Relationships with Supplier Quality teams, IT, Sales and Marketing, R&D, Operations, Suppliers, Global Strategic Sourcing, Planners, and Finance.

Required Experience

3 years supply chain experience

1.    Demonstrated analytical experience or ability, especially in regards to forecasting demand – 3 years
2.    Knowledge of lean and continuous improvement – 1 year

5.    Computer Skills – Must be highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications, must be very adapt in Microsoft Excel and must have knowledge and experience using ORACLE.
