This position is a US-based remote (home office) position.

The Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner will be assigned to support key strategic hiring initiatives and business strategies as it pertains to identifying and attracting the talent necessary to advance STERIS’s product, process, and service delivery technology/innovation. This role will act as a subject matter expert for the business in terms of formulation of strategy required to compete for this highly sought after and niche technical talent. This role is a senior member of the team and is expected to be partner to TA leaders and a mentor to other recruiters. This role will work across a broad spectrum of technical openings within the organization and will not just focus on one or two disciplines within engineering.

 

What You Will Do

  • This position will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition
  • Deliver strategic and tactical recruiting expertise to support the business as we seek to acquire top talent technical professionals in the areas of IT and/or Engineering.
  • Advise leaders and hiring managers with deep subject matter expertise on recruiting technical professionals. This includes sourcing and search techniques, market/industry knowledge, and deep understanding of variety of technical disciplines (like software engineering).
  • Responsible for developing robust sourcing/search strategies for technical talent, this will include vetting and selection of tools, or 3rd party resources needed to build a strong talent pipeline and compelling branding/story telling.
  • Partnering with senior TA and business leaders to gain insight into business strategy and initiatives that will help forecast and shape technical talent needs on the horizon.
  • In addition to this you will support the Senior TA manager by providing insight into the performance, wins and KPI’s associated within assignment.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

  

  • Minimum of 8 years as a Recruiter
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working a desk of technical reqs (majority 51% or more)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering innovative/creative TA strategy
  • Experience participating in large TA initiatives (projects)
